Review summary

An amazing experience. The Panama Canal transit was better than expected.

Embarkation

Well organised, did not have to wait for long. Plenty of staff available to guide us through the process.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Bayou Cafe was superb. Wait staff knowledgeable, steak was the best I have ever tasted!!! AnyTime Dining was enjoyable. Could choose when to eat without being on a set schedule. Also were able to meet many different people at the tables.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Trivia quizzes were fun. Pools and spas clean and well maintained, with easy access to lounge chairs and clean towels. Movies Under The Stars was a wonderful experience

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Did not enjoy the guest performers at all. The production shows were great! Musicians and bands playing in public areas around the ship were wonderful.

Ship Quality

Photo boards took up too much space in the walkways, created a traffic jam at all hours of the day and night

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
D520 is a Mini Suite with fold out sofa bed for third person. Plenty of room available for three, sufficient storage space in bathroom as well as stateroom. Would prefer a walk-in shower instead of shower over the bath. Shower curtain always wrapped around me!
