Review summary

We had a really good time! We didn't like how we always felt like the cruise people were always trying to sell us things from snapshots to wine tastings. We were there to relax and had already spent a lot of money to go and didn't like the fact that they were pushing us to spend more. Poor taste.

Embarkation

It was kind of crazy how we had to go upstairs, downstairs, upstairs. Lines were good though.

I used the gym.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
We saw a comedian/magician, a sing and dance show, a married couples game and the Voice of the Ocean.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
The waiters could be rude at times. Our room steward was awesome!

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The ship was laid out just fine. The common areas were generally clean however we were sitting next to the window at the buffet and a waiter came to remove a high chair that was next to the window. When he did we saw how dirty it really was behind there. It looked like it had never been cleaned. There was mold growing on the carpet! GROSS!!!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
It was a great size for us 3 women. Even a full sized tub!! Very clean!

Ship tip

Go as soon as the buffet opens if you want a seat next to the window. Especially when you're in Glacier Bay!

It's just a simple no!

Get a grip. Everyone is trying to make a buck. Just say no and don't feel guilty.

Does the 'hard sell' only last the first two days? I say "no thanks" a lot.
