Review summary
The food was the very best we have had on any cruise--and we have done ten. Fantastic chef on this ship. The entertainment was also the best we have ever enjoyed. The costumes and sets and the quality of the performers was above and beyond. The ship , which is not new, was clean and the service in all bars and other venues was excellent. On the minus side, where the ship docked was a major problem. Other lines had all the prime spots and we were delegated in one case to a cement plant where steel beams and machinery had to be negotiated for disembarkation. This was not the only port this happened in. As Platinum Princess members, we really expected a good table in the assigned seating dining room, but were given a table right by a major freeway of waiters delivering meals and taking dishes away. We complained to the head waiters, all of which came and talked to us, but there was nothing that could have been done at that point (the first dining). So besides internet access (250 minutes) being loyal to Princess, means very little. However, overall, it was a great cruise and there were far more positives than the few negatives.

Ship tip
The food is the best of the best. The entertainment the best we have ever had. Topside Grill did well with hamburgers and I'm told fantastic hot dogs. The pizza was also quite good. All the bars gave exceptional service, especiall Crooners and Wheelhouse.
