Review summary

Ship was only okay with entertainment, poor with the excursions, moderate with meals, and add ons to a glass of soda ridicules. This was my very first cruise and I had very high hopes based on others' cruise experiences, but was very disappointed with the overall cruise offerings.

I have cruised on RC, Celebrity, Carnival and Princess and all have been great. Don't let anyone talk you out of any other line. They are more alike than different. But, to get a different impression I do suggest trying one of the newer ships. As for paying for soda, well, that's just how it is on all lines. You can always bring your own or buy a drink package.
