Coral Princess - Panama Canal Cruise

Sail Date: December 07, 2015

Reviewed: 10 months ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Inside

Cabin: TBA

This cruise was absolutely wonderful. Princess handled everything with efficiency, professionalism, and grace. We were very impressed with the entertainment, food, service, attendants, steward, decorations, staff, and crew. We went to Aruba, Columbia, Panama, (the Canal of course), Costa Rica and Jamaica, with the start and finish in Ft. Lauderdale. I recommend this cruise very highly.

Cabin / Stateroom
We were upgraded to a cabin with a window and a partially obstructed view. We had sunlight and a wee view..... the cabin was roomy and nice with plenty of storage... closets and shelving.

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida
Took a tour at the Sawtooth Everglades Park.... with KSA tours. Saw lots of alligators. Fun.
Oranjestad, Aruba
Took a nice tour of the entire island in an A/C bus. Very interesting... saw it all. One Happy Island.
Cartagena, Colombia
Beautiful city. We took a local tour which we signed up for on the dock. Boat ride to the city, then a guided walking tour of the Colonial City. Very nice. Beautiful City.
Panama Canal (Cruise Into Canal)
This was totally amazing... 3 locks.... up at 5:30 am so as not to miss a thing. This was the whole purpose of our trip... Going through the Panama Canal! Bucket List: Check!
Colon, Panama
Took a Princess tour to Panama City, across the entire country of Panama to the Pacific Ocean. Very nice.
Puerto Limon, Costa Rica
We hired a private driver to take us around and show us Limon....The rainforest, rivers, flowers, monkeys, sloths, birds, lovely.
Ocho Rios, Jamaica
The very aggressive vendors really put a negative spin on this port for us.

Great soft ice cream cones at the Ice Cream shop. Loved the dance lessons on "at sea" days. The Christmas decorations in the Atrium were perfect. The entertainment was so good..... the Band, Ray Coussins at the piano, Turbin, the Dancers, The pianist (can't remember his name), the comedians...
