Review summary

After cruising on several other cruise lines, this was my first time on Celebrity, going with my 22-year-old daughter who graduates college this year. I have to say, from the easy embarkation and disembarkation process, to the amazing staff no matter where we were: bars, pool bar specifically, casino, Main dining room, cabin etc. to the fantastic food in the main dining room, especially their appetizers and soups, fantastic cabin Service and more, Celebrity is now at the top of my list. Great choices for both food and drink. A small enough ship that you don’t feel like you’re getting lost but large enough that there is tons to do.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
I always remember embarkation being a pain in the butt. Long lines etc. This was not the case for this cruise. First time with celebrity so maybe it’s just the cruise line. But super fast, easy. Loved it.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
I was astonished at how good the main dining room food and the buffet food was. So many options and everything was really incredibly good.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
The pools were fine. The hair salon did a great job, but they try to upsell you every step of the way. That was moderately annoying.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The nightly show was fantastic. The comedian was really great, very funny. The ships band were lots of fun and the DJ played some good music.

Children's Programs

No kids with me

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All of the staff did such an amazing job. They made it very personal and we’re extremely attentive. From the cabin steward, to the weight staff and Simona in the main dining room and the bartenders at the pool bar and other bars. They were all fantastic.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
I loved the ships layout and design. It was easy to get from one place to the other and it wasn’t so huge that it took forever to get there. I noticed some rust spots on some of the outside metal framework but not a big deal. They needed more wait staff cleaning up the pool area.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
This was a very nice, comfortable interior cabin. It was well-maintained and the bathroom was plenty big enough. Our cabin steward was a rockstar.

Ship tip

Try the main dining room. The food and choices were amazing.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida Did not visit port

We just used this port for embarkation and disembarkation.

Nassau, Bahamas

4 out of 5
Been there several times. They have really cleaned up the port area with nice little shops. The straw market is still there and they still pressure you like crazy. The swim with the pigs excursion was super fun.

Cozumel, Mexico

4 out of 5
The Cozumel port was great. The excursion that we went on though was amazing.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Super easy. The best one I’ve ever had.
