Review summary

It was a nice short cruise for someone who did not have enough time to take a full cruise. It did feel kind of silly to be sailing around in circles on the CA because we were so close to the Bahamas and Miami but it was nice to get away for a few days. I would not recommend paying the upgrade for concierge class. It was a bunch of fluff with no real substance. we did not feel like any of the extra amenities were worth the cost. Also, check celebrities website for actual room dimensions before you book with . I was told we would have a full balcony and they were not accurate. However, on celebrities website, it did list which balconies were not full-size. I regret not checking with Celebrity first.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Very well maintained ship except for the balcony in the room and many of the windows around the ship

Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin itself was spacious, comfortable and very clean, nice decor and very comfortable beds. However, when we booked this room via , we were not told that the balcony was only half the size of a regular balcony. It was shaped oddly because of the ship layout. It did still fit two chairs and one table but it was very cramped. Sort of the shape of an irregular triangle. I would not have booked this room had informed me that this was a smaller balcony.

Ship tip

Don’t trust to be accurate on the description or layout of your room. I wish I would’ve looked at celebrities website and paid attention to the fine print before I booked with . I even called customer service after I found out that the balcony would not be full-size and they insisted that it was full-size. They were incorrect.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

Easy self parking in the garage directly across from terminal G for celebrity cruises. $22 a night but it was worth it for the convenience.

Nassau, Bahamas

The new cruise port and shopping area is fantastic. Plenty of safe places to shop and eat and hang out. Lots of Security present and no one trying to sell you anything in an aggressive manner. However, if you leave this area, you will be bombarded with people trying to sell you things and can be very aggressive. It did feel unsafe outside of the cruise port area. We were advised not to use our credit card and any of the shops outside of the safe port area area. And to not travel by ourselves. There are large golf cart shuttles to and from the actual ship to the shopping area which was very nice.

Bimini, Bahamas

4 out of 5
We did the virgin voyages beach club excursion through the ship, and this was a beautiful and well-maintained beach area. Plenty of chairs, clean restrooms, waiters walking around to take your drink or food orders. The water was gorgeous. The only thing we did not care for was the music was extremely loud and constant But it was a beautiful place to get off the ship and relax for the day.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Very smooth and easy embarkation and very convenient to have our car right across the street in the terminal G parking garage
