Review summary

This was a really great cruise experience! Highlights: ALL of the food, excellent cocktails, friendly service. Lowlights: Issues with shore excursions. Overall, my friend and I had an amazing time and got to relax in luxury. I would absolutely go again!

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Getting on the ship was easy and straightforward; I was so grateful that they staggered arrivals, as I never had to wait in a long line.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food was fantastic. The buffet was amazing, with great quality food in a variety of cuisines. However, my favorite was the dining room experience. I was happy with my food every night, and I had maybe the best dessert of my life on the first night. It was a dulce de leche creme brulee, and I will always remember it!

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Honestly I didn't partake in many onboard activities; I'm much more of a "sit by the pool all day" kinda gal, and that was perfect for me. I do wish the hot tubs were open later than 10, however, especially since I had a late dinner time.

Entertainment

I didn't attend any shows.

Children's Programs

I didn't bring any children.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The service on the ship was incredible. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. People helped me find answers to my questions even when it was wildly out of their area of specialty. I want to give a special shout out to our waiters, Agus & Q, and our sommelier, JV, for making every night special at dinner. They answered our every question, made valuable recommendations, and put a smile on our faces.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Everything was sparkling clean and well-maintained. I always felt bad leaving my dishes on the table and walking away, but by the time I turned around someone was already taking care of it!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
I was very impressed by this room. I've been in "oceanview" rooms before where my window was a smallish porthole; this room's window nearly took up the entire wall! It was really great to have such a huge window for the spectacular views of the ocean. Really appreciated the amount of storage in our room too. My friend and I had more than enough space to unpack entirely and to coexist in the space. The bed was also more comfortable than I expected, and I slept soundly every night.

Ship tip

Be really excited about the buffet. It is ENORMOUS, with chef-quality food of every kind. (And make sure to be up in time for the breakfast buffet, because it is worth the effort.)

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

5 out of 5

Key West, Florida

4 out of 5
This port was fun to walk around and the views were lovely. However, it was disappointing when ALL of the excursions we tried to book ended up being cancelled.

Nassau, Bahamas

2 out of 5
We had an issue with our excursion. We booked it through the Celebrity website, but unbeknownst to us it was actually booked through a third party. Then when we arrived, we were told that the excursion doesn't exist and we should ask for a refund. We ended up finding alternative entertainment, but had much less time to enjoy Nassau due to this issue.

Disembarkation

3 out of 5
Generally disembarkation was fine. However, I wish they had been able to stagger it the way they did with embarkation. There seemed to be SOME attempt to do so, but the time frames were very short and the instructions were relatively unclear. They told us to go to a certain place but didn't have anyone stationed there to tell us when it was our turn, so we just joined the queue with everyone else.
