This was our first cruise on Celebrity and the Summit, and won’t be our last. From beginning to end, the staff went above and beyond to ensure we were happy and comfortable. We felt so well looked after, and were impressed by the beauty and elegance of the ship itself. We loved the Solarium for lounging, and the theater shows and game shows in the evening. Food was great with lots of variety. The accommodations were lovely and comfortable. The itinerary was what we were looking for for a relaxing vacation. Highly recommend!
Embarkation

Very happy with the wheelchair assistance provided. The whole check in and embarkation process was super smooth and easy
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
The food was great- good variety and fresh. Definitely a step up from other lines we’ve cruised. We had all our dinners in the Cosmopolitan restaurant and the staff took such great care of us.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Especially loved the adults only solarium with heated pool and hot tubs. The fitness center was huge and modern. I enjoyed the fitness classes provided.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
We felt like the entertainment was also a step up from the other lines we’ve cruised. The singers, dancers, and special performers were excellent and the “Life” show was the best show we’ve ever seen on a cruise.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Our room steward was amazing getting us all set up with the accessibility options we requested. Our server in the dining room, Wayan, was just the best. Staff all across the ship went out of their way to be friendly and helpful.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Spotlessly clean and well maintained, the decor was simple, elegant, and also practical. We never felt crowded and never had to wait for elevators
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
We were so impressed with our cabin! The decor was lovely and felt high end, with a soothing color scheme. We were thrilled with the very large porthole and also the large TV (even though we hardly turned it on). It was a great use of space with plenty of room for storage. Our steward Ida did a wonderful job keeping it spotlessly clean and comfortable for us.
Ship tip
The Solarium was usually not so crowded and was a great place to relax while music and games were going on on the main deck.
We just walked around and got some key lime pie. Like that the port is so close to town and easy to walk. I was able to easily push my mom’s wheelchair around the streets.
We got a day pass to the Westin resort, and high I would give that part of the experience 5 stars. It was just lovely and very quiet and relaxing. The port itself has seen better days. Not very wheelchair friendly, and the shopping options didn’t have much variety.
Perfect- again we got the wheelchair assistance, and the porters helped us all the way to our car! We were so impressed with the staff on and off the ship. On past cruises disembarkation can be a bit of a mad house, but this felt very orderly and organized.
