Review summary

We haven’t cruised since the pandemic started. So our last cruise was about 3 years ago, not our choice as we love cruising. It was an excellent vacation. We did leave on thanksgiving and the ship had dinner for us in the MDR. The staff is so friendly and the ship is on the smaller side so we were able to meet and talk with other people. Overall we loved the ship. The captain is always around and friendly! We enjoyed seeing him around and his officers. Service was a little slow but we understand having to wait. We are happy to be able to cruise agin with no restrictions. Everyone goes out of their way to make sure you are having a great time. All attentive and wanting you to be happy!

Embarkation

It was easy to get on the ship since everything is completed prior. They check your ID’s and take a photo and your room keys are on your door.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We ate 3 nights in the main dining room. Food was excellent. The menu choices were excellent. One night they forgot to ask if we wanted cocktails. We said something and they were brought to us right away. We ate dinner in the buffet one night and the food was great. Lots to choose from in the buffet. We did go to the pizza bar in the evening (midnight) and it was busy since nothing else was available. Long wait for pizza and not enough when the pizza came out. You would have to wait sometimes for another pizza to be made.

Onboard Activities

The activities department were friendly and fun. We participated in many of the activities. We personally would have liked to have more activities. We swam in the pool and there were plenty loungers. Towels were easily accessible.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The shows were great. We seen Life and Soundtracks. NYC3 was excellent, a show you shouldn’t miss!! The comedian was excellent especially the late night one!! The DJ’s were great. The violinist’s were the best I have ever seen!! The live music was nice also.

Service and Staff

Excellent service from our room stew. She had everything ready and we were pleased everyday with our room. She even left chocolate on our pillow every night. The bartenders seemed kinda slow. Took a while whenever we went to get a drink at the bar. We did like the waiters carried around pre made drinks so you didn’t have to order a drink and it was ready. The variety was nice also. The officers were attentive. The captain was super friendly, always available and participated in events. We enjoyed that very much!!

Ship Quality

Ports of call

Nassau, Bahamas

We did the sea and land excursion. Started with a catamaran ride and free drinks. This was excellent. Then a ride through Nassau with a tour guide. Made several stops. Very informative. Next was a stop at Atlantis. We had the option of heading back with the tour or finding our way back. We choose to stay and enjoyed the hotel. We payed $5.00 each for a shuttle/taxi back to the ship. Excellent excursion and highly recommend

Key West, Florida

Disembarkation

We were sad to leave the ship as we had an amazing time. We had a time assigned and we were able to walk right off the ship. No lines!! It was great and staff helped make it an easy process!!
