Overall very good and memorable. However spouse came down with covid symptoms 2 days after returning home. Not unheard of.

Food and Dining

We chose aqua class for more intimate dining in Blu. It fell short of expectation. However we enjoyed all of the specialty restaurants on 10 day cruise and found spa and oceanview Cafe fare surpringly good. Bars lounges and other offerings did well too.

Cabin / Stateroom

In a word, ERGONOMIC. Roomier than the online videos could capture. Just enough for our needs. Situated under bathrooms serving pool and Oceanview Cafe. No leaks no noise.

Ship tip

Big time saver: the spa locker rooms portside from the solarium pool are not exclusive to users of the spa or persian garden. The men's has a sauna and two huge showers, sinks, mirrors, towels and hooks. One partner can get out of bad and go directly here while the other gets ready in the stateroom..

Ports of call

Cape Liberty (Bayonne), New Jersey

'barkation port for us. Easy peasy in and out. Staff and process very good.

Royal Naval Dockyard, West End, Bermuda

Been here before. This time we ferried to Hamilton and walked leftward to the Princess hotel resort where by prior reservation we enjoyed very good high tea experience. Visited a few boutique shops along the way near the ferry port.

Charleston, South Carolina

A storm nearing Bermuda had the Captain call an audible that morning to head south to sea canceling 3rd port day in Bermuda and adding a 3rd port day in Charleston which had steamier weather. We enjoyed both the horse carriage tour (charming!) and the wider radius small bus tour, both of which locally based (not ship sponsored). We took a Lyft ride to do the latter. The bus guide driver was kind enough to drop us shipside after completing the tour! Both tours we met local Ghulla crafters.

I’ve heard of a lot of people getting Covid either while on the cruise or when they get home. But hey, we’re in a Covid pandemic. What do you expect?
