Review summary

Cruising is still not safe! We were both covid negative when we embarked. We tested mid-cruise and we were still negative. When we debarked, we immediately got covid tests, and we were both positive and are currently in isolation. Very few guests were wearing masks during the cruise. Lots of coughing and sneezing on board. Will not be cruising again until the situation improves.

The embarkation process was fast and seamless. Cape Liberty is hard to get to from NYC. A taxi from Manhatten will cost over $100.

Service needs to improve. It takes too long between courses. Also, the serving sizes are too large.

We only used the fitness center which was well-equipped.

The shows were small but high quality. We enjoyed them a lot.

We have no children.

Service in the dining rooms was slow. Our room steward was very good and satisfied all our needs.

Ship layout was easy to understand. We had no problems navigating the ship.

We were switched to room 6022. The balcony was HUGE! The room was great with a lot of storage.

Ship tip

Very few people were wearing masks. The crew were all wearing masks. We tested negative for covid when we boarded the ship. We were both positive when we left the ship.

Sorry about your positive test. We were on this cruise and returned safely. The risk of covid is equal everywhere.

Glad you enjoyed your cruise, sorry you got Covid and hope you’re both ok. Unfortunately you can catch it anywhere and if we want to cruise we also have to accept the risk we’ll get it.

These are the times we live in. All we can do is protect ourselves as best we can. I'm sure there are plenty of covid positive people walking around that don't know it. I hope things improve but but not sure they will.
