Kind of disappointing. I was on this ship in the past and the renovations were not impressive.

Review summary

I was on this ship in the past. We went on it again because the service was good and the staff was friendly. The ship was supposedly remodeled but overall unimpressive. The food this time was fair at best. I think for the money I would suggest another cruise line unfortunately. Sometimes your first experience is your best experience and that is the case with the Celebrity Summit.

Unimpressed. The buffet had the same food reheated again and again repurposed from previous leftovers. If the steak didn't go the night before it was diced up into fajita meat for lunch the next day. Same for the chicken or fish. Different sauce and dried out.

There was very little entertainment or activities for anyone under 70.

Very limited and not worth the time unfortunately. I have been on many cruises including Royal Carribian there parent company and there is definitely more options and activities on other ships.

The staff was friendly overall. Rooms were clean. Don't expect towel animals on this ship if you have cruised in the past and enjoyed them. Rooms were clean but very basic.

Ship was clean but unimpressive for a ship that just had a massive renovation. Looked pretty much the same as when I was on it 10 years ago.

Cabin / Stateroom

I expected it to be tight but it was even smaller than I expected. If you are going with family definitely get two rooms.

Ship tip

There are much better options for the same or less money. I would definitely do a newer ship instead.

Wow ,we were on the same sailing and didn't feel that way at all. We thought the entertainment was very good along with food in the MDR and the buffet.
