Cruising to Bermuda never gets old. Celebrity does it right and The Summit is the perfect ship for the trip.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
We checked in on the Celebrity App so embarkation consisted of a scan of our boarding pass and confirmation of our passports. Straight to our room to get our sea pass card.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We love eating in Blu. Food and service is exceptional in a quiet, elegant dining room.

Onboard Activities

Love the Solarium. No kids and relaxing. We got up early so that we could get a lounge chair in the shade by the pool or in the Solarium if that was what we wanted that day. Games were fun and the comedians were great.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Service was fantastic. Frank was our stateroom attendant and one of the best that we have ever had. Joe, Jerry and Harry took exceptional care of us in Blu. Celebrity Cruise staff is always cheerful, helpful and personable. It’s one of the reasons we are Celebrity loyalists.

Ship Quality

Like the remodel. The Summit’s rooms are much nicer than they were. We very much like the Aqua Class Rooms new furniture and didn’t miss the table at all. There is more storage and the bathroom is also updated and nice. Theater is very nice and the Ocenview Cafe’s new design and furnishings are both beautiful and functional. Ship is easy to navigate, Captain is out and about, crew is exceptional. Relax and enjoy.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We always book Aqua Class and I loved the new furniture. I did not miss the table at all. There is more storage and desk area and seating is more to scale for a cabin so the room is more spacious. I did miss the additional jets that the old Aqua Class showers had and it definitely needs a shelf in the shower for a razor, etc. I was surprised that there wasn’t any fresh fruit that the Aqua Class always had and disappointed in the elimination of the blue canvass totes.

Ship tip

Visit Cafe’ al Bacio on Deck 5.

Since we are from NJ it’s easy to drive and park. Vacation starts when we turn off the engine.

King's Wharf, Bermuda

If you like beaches make sure you go to St George’s and snorkel in Tobacco Bay. Brief walk from the ferry dock. Make sure you go to Horseshoe Bay. You can grab a taxi at the Dockyard. A ride in the multi person van is only $7 per person each way.

Disembarkation

Quick and easy.
