Overall wonderful cruise with great service from most every staff person on board. Were there some glitches? Of course. But, that’s to be expected as a cruise is a major undertaking for all who are responsible for making it happen. We’ve been cruising on Celebrity almost exclusively since 2007 and this cruise (as have all our others) gives us good reason to continue to do so.

What we saw was excellent. Cruise director did at outstanding job.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Stateroom attendant was excellent and restaurant staff (especially in Blu) were outstanding...about, if not the best we’ve experienced in our 12 years on Celebrity. Bar staff was excellent too but seemed that bars were at times understaffed and overwhelmed. If I could stop here I would definitely give a solid 5 rating. However, our one significant issue was with photo staff. We purchased the entire digital package that included every photo and thee staff refused to let us take our photos they had already printed for pubic display, even admitting that all they were going to do was throw them in the trash after we disembarked the next day. In contrast, the photo staff on our Reflection cruise in May offered my wife (without her even asking) the already printed photos after we purchased the same digital package because, “we’re just going to throw them away tomorrow”. That staff understood it makes good business sense ro do so when you can offer something extra to the customer when it costs nothing extra to do so.
Ship Quality

The new color schemes and features of the “revolutionized” Summit are quite nice, particularly in the public areas.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
Aft Aqua stateroom on deck 11 had oversized balcony. However, there is not much privacy as it overlooked Sunset Bar. As much as we enjoy aft cabins with larger balconies will probably not book an Aft Aqua room on Millennium class ships again because of privacy and noise issues. Also, had issues probably related to recent “revolutionizing” such as balcony doors extremely difficult to open (my son and daughter in law were next door and had same issue), A/C issues and no hooks on our bathroom door (kids had 4 on inside of their bathroom door) for hanging robes, etc. Apparent lack of QC inspection at completion of refurbishment.
Ship tip
Wonderful staff and exceptional service for the most part. Highly recommend Aqua class because of the outstanding staff in Blu restaurant. If privacy is a priority be wary of booking aft AQ class stateroom. Large balcony is great but the privacy issue is a major tradeoff. From experience, I’ve found the CC1 aft cabins on Millennium class ships to be much better for privacy
Easy to get to and good organization in regard to passengers embarking and disembarking. Some port staff were a little curt but for most part folks were courteous. Nothing to see or do closeby with exception of the 911 Teardrop memorial monument given to the US by the people of Russia.
While the port is away from the major towns in Bermuda, it has been well developed and there are plenty of things to see and do...from restaurants, shopping, excursions departing from there and a museum.
Typical Celebrity. Designated meeting areas get very crowded/congested prior to beginning of disembarkation. Over the years we’ve learned to avoid those areas by finding a less crowded lounge to hang out n until our number is called, making for a much more pleasant experience.
Great tip about the AQ aft. We will be exactly there on our next cruise. I was thinking about the convenience - just below the movies my hubby loves to do and just upstairs from the buffet and close to pools. I was not thinking about the noise. I wonder if I'm going to regret that decision.
