Review summary
I've been on this ship twice. Celebrity is the best value in my opinion because they conform to how cruising started and they do it best. I just also got off a Disney boat (Fantasy). I give this way better value not because Disney was worse but because of their expense. Celebrity is a much older demographic. They don't have goofy but they do have a large kid club area and the kids actually get more attention. The kids club on Disney was state of the art and uniquely branded but not double worth. And, we are a Disney family. Celebrity's food was better. Disney was pretty good. Atmosphere was upscale. Formal night was in a ballroom and so getting dressed up made sense. It's just a "great all around cruise atmosphere." That said, goofy wasn't bad. He was just expensive company. If I were going to spend that kind of money, I might opt for snobby Viking. Again, all excellent. So I find it a good mix and best value in cruising.Embarkation
