In reality the Celebrity employees really made our Trip better. Front end manager really tried her best to accommodate me and my husband by offering a special dinner at any specialty restaurant. He decided to go to Tuscan which was amazing. The managers name is Hoda she really did try also gave us extra credit for another cruise. We really want to ever go on a Celebrity Cruise again . I went on the summit for a second time because I enjoyed the first trip so much and I wanted to build up points with this I went on the summit for second time because I enjoyed the first trip so much and I want to build up point for perks with this Cruise line. My buddy purse was with celebrity I really thought I would stick to this cruise line but after this experience I’m not sure what to think. It was just a nightmare especially having to take a shower and having my husband have to use a public bathroom every time he needed the rest my very first was with celebrity I really thought I would stick to this cruise line but after this experience I’m not sure what to think. Which is quite often because of his illness Watching myself and him take a bath in the spa public bathrooms and then had to run to our room 3 floors down in our towels to get dressed for dinner was humiliating. We had not taken a vacation for three years due to his line of work and lack of vacation time and this is how our experience was. Thinking about it now I’m just so upset. Main dining was great. Our waiter Joaquin from Columbia was one of the key factors that I enjoyed my trip somewhat. He knew me and my husband so well. The Tuscan Grill was beyond fabulous. I just loved it and who served us was so knowledgeable about the food. I REALLY LOVE THE VALUE OF THIS SPECIALTY RESTAURANT.

Outstanding bartender and entertainers. I loved going the to watch all there unique tricks. I love this bar so much that as a gift to great people I met in the ship I would take them there for a flight of martinis. Which was such a treat just to watch and of course drink. But as a person that’s been in the hospitality business for over 20 years again employees were just so amazing.

This part of the trip was very disappointed. I had traveled in the Summit in 2012 which was the reason I decided to do this trip again. But the activities this time around where so BORING. Me and my husband felt like we where not on the Celebrity summit that we remember. There were no sales going on while on sea. I shop so much in the previous trip . There where ladies selling custom necklaces throughout the trip and many small knickknacks that I was able to bring back to my family. This time around it was none of that . they had some ok deals at the end .So I had to wait for the last day to get a bargain ! On the last cruisenthey had a special on a different hours throughout the days on sea. I wish they did not do all the shopping special for the last day when you are worried about packing for the next day . It was a frenzy. So I had to wait for the last day to get a bargain. Shopping was not enjoyable because it was overly crowded. And UNDERSTAFFED. Previously I shopped every day for something different at Sea . Plus it being understaffed seem like employees Had to wear multiple hats ,and work multiple stores at once . I saw a few taking care of two stores at a time . I very disappointed shopping experience. I saw many women just leave and not purchase anything because they couldn’t get help with the register was with a huge line. Remember the next day everyone is sleeping so when you put all the sales for one day no one enjoys shopping. Especially my husband . He didn’t have patients to spend money on me When it was overly crowded.

I really enjoyed the silent disco and bingo . The Dj/ host was a very funny comedian and made bingo a very fun game. It was my first time playing bingo on a cruise and gambling but I played it two days in a row because of the DJ/ host he was so funny. It was the only day activity that I look forward to.

The ship was very very clean at all times. The problem was that they were bad odors in hallways especially on my floor the section where my room was . The smell came from the sewer.They had a lot of plumbing issues. It was horrible to be in my room and have to smell sewer smell. I spent a few days in my sick to my stomach from the smell.
Cabin / Stateroom

First the beds were very very comfortable. I couldn’t sleep much during the trip this was one of the main problems. Sleep deprivation .As the combined two twin beds you would constantly feel yourself sinking in between both bed. Which had my husband very aggravated. The mattresses were very hard and thin. I spent a full day without being able to use my bathroom due to problems with the ship pipes clogging. When I dealt with customer relations they cannot change my room because the ship was at capacity so me and my husband were sent to the SPA public rooms to take showers and get ready for dinner. To me that was humiliating. Also the fact my husband has a stomach problem he wasn’t able to use his bathroom for almost 2 days because our toilets couldn’t flush. I was so upset Because I know how sensitive my husband is due to the stomach problems and having to go to a public bathroom that was in different level across the ship it was just horrible. I’m surprised the ship doesn’t have available empty rooms in case of issues like this happens Or any other emergencies where people might have to have the rooms changed. I had to hear my husband complain about this whole trip. They were two different locations where I cried. It takes us so much efforts tontake a trip andall this to occur really bummed me and my husband out.
Ship tip
I WOULD NEVER recommend anyone to go on this cruise ship. The ship had a lot of mechanical problems due to its age I believe. Prior to booking the trip I did not keep that in consideration. Because I was aware that they had refreshed the ship since 2012 I expected to ship to be a lot nicer. It looked OK But nothing that interest us. Besides it’s outstanding staff. WE KEPT DEALING WITH SO MANY MECHANICAL PROBLEMS.
Very depressant with the scenery. Especially after the hurricane they were a lot of rubbles on site from the disaster. Which started off my trip gloomy and depressing over the situation of Puerto Rico and how the structure was. I do not recommend people leaving on a cruise out of Puerto Rico especially with the conditions of the outer skirts. I really thought that by the port area we were not going to see evidence of this disaster. Unfortunately this is not something that we can do anything about but to start a vacation looking at the sadness was not a good idea for me.
I was very surprised at the quietness of this port especially being in a tropical island. There was no music being played giving you a sense that you were on a vacation on a tropical island. The port was very very quiet luckily there was a small rum shop where there were 2 ladies that offered us samples of rum punch . So we sat there and bought a few drinks.
This was the highlight of our trip. Bermuda was just beautiful. We really enjoyed being able to afford a motorbike and drive around the entire island . THIS WAS VERY AFFORDABLE $100 for 24hr. Just gave us a chance to go on a excursion that we can afford . We would definitely love to go back to Bermuda one day soon.
It was a problem with the shipping disembarking which made us lose our reservation for a car rental. That was an issue with many passengers get off the boat on time. Many passengers missed there flights due to this issue. We were expected to get out at no later than 9 AM Since we woke up at five in the morning to make sure that we were ready . We did not get off the ship until almost 12pm ... once again we understand some of these things are out Celebrities Cruises’s control but this was unacceptable. To deal with a lot of people around you frustrated because ofmissing flights and I myself having to go to another car rental agency and pay more money for a car because we didn’t make it in time.
So very sorry for all the problems it must have been devastating with out a bathroom .
I know that everyone looks forward to a holiday and it's so disappointing to have all these problems.

Honestly, I didn't read this entire review, I kept losing my place. But, I do hope you give Celebrity another try. They are a great line. You may want to try a Solstice class ship instead of Millennium class as they are larger with more entertainment options. Personally, we prefer the Millennium class as I'd rather have active port excursions and just chill while on the boat.
