As a guest that frequently cruise, I was very disappointed with this trip. I took this same trip three years ago and was terribly disappointed to experience how bad things had become. Also spoke with other guest who shared my dislike for the treatment we received on this cruise. Definitely not worth the money. I would not recommend this cruise. I feel terrible about the glowing recommendation I had given prior and hope my friends do not follow me planning this trip.

Ship tip
I would not recommend this cruise to anyone with handicap condition or guest with special needs
Not made aware of holiday in advance which limited visiting many places. Attempted to visit Hamilton for carnival was advised by Celebrity staff scooter not allowed on ferry. All other towns closed for holiday no transportation for handicap individuals. On Friday learn from locals that ferry would allow scooter, At this point it was day we were leaving. My excursion the entire trip was limited to Dockyard. Was unable to arrange transport to beach . Was advised that travel agent should have arrange accessible excursions no less than 30 days prior to trip. Excursions all discriminate against handicap individuals. I was totally disappointed. Initially informed I was not credit on board credit, after being persistent credit awarded.
Steward refuse to change luggage tags the night before to accommodate his convince of putting his luggage group together. Last person off ship as my name not on wheel chair assist list even though I address this during trip planning, embarkation and with steward the night prior.i was placed in two wheel chairs that were in poor condition, advised prior guest chair broke while in progress of escorting off ship.
I've been on about every cruise line possible and no one compares to Celebrity or Azamara. Carnival had terrible food. Holland America had terrible food, terrible service and the ship broke down thru out the cruise. We were 12 hours coming home and we missed 3 ports because of constantly breaking down. Princess was very nice but entertainment was so so. NCL was terrible all over, food service AND they charged extra for EVERYTHING, even the shows. The only saving grace was we stayed in The Haven so we had our own pool and restaurant but if we wanted variety had to go to specialty dining which sucked. Queen Mary was WAY TOO EXPENSIVE even for a 7 day cruise. Disney, well that was too many children and no one kicked the kids out of the restricted areas.
People that post these kind of vague disappointments probably have other issues going on and would not be happy with ANY cruise. Thank you for not gracing this cruise ship with your negative presence. Maybe you should take your next vacation at home...
We have never had any problems with Summit or Celebrity for that matter. It was worth every cent we had to pay. And we've been on all the other cruise lines. If you had a terrible time, then stay off cruise lines all together because the best lines will cost you a mortgage and you won't get a better cruise, trust me.
