Review summary
The ship is starting to show its age. Good thing February will bring dry dock with many upgrades and refurbishments. A nice size ship makes it easy to get around. The new, first American female captain, Kate McCue, was very accessible and could be seen around the ship at many times. Food was very good. Of course the layout of the buffet area on the Millennium class ships is poor and is shamed by the Solstice class ships. Shows were hit and miss. The cruise director was really good and the activities director, Justin Short, was outstanding. Never had so much fun at trivia. The Martini Bar staff was both talented and service oriented. We made it there every night and we had so much fun.
Boston was fun, Portland interesting. Unfortunately we tendered in Bar Harbor. The overnight was fun in Quebec City. Charlottown p.E.I., Sidney Nova Scotia and Halifax Nova Scotia didn't disappoint.
The Port Liberty embarkation and disembarkation were smooth. We drove to the park and used Premier Parking for a saving of $8 a day.
