A: We've taken the Summit on 4 occasions, but only felt ocean movement once heading into an unavoidable storm. The ship's crew announced the possible motion sickness very early and provided advice on how to combat it. If you don't like pills, use the tr... avel/ motion sickness wrist bands. They worked for me.See More

A: I have sailed to Bermuda 3 times. It can be a little rough depending on the weather. I always come prepared with motion sickness patches and have been fine. If you get sick easily I would come prepared so your trip is not ruined.

A: Sort of you are crossing a larger expanse of deep ocean than if island hopping down in the Bahamas or Caribbean. This deep water can be calm most of the time but it gets very turbulent due to incoming storms then it does get rough. Newer bigger ships... have better stabilizers to counter, but the Summit is an older small ship. So be prepared for both ends of the spectrum.See More

A: No testing as far as I know. I am on same cruise with you. Can’t wait
Answered by donato49 on May 20, 2023
A: Currently no. Unless a port of call the ship is scheduled to visit requires one. Currently only some Asian/Pacific ports, like Australia, require any Covid testing or vaccine proofs. Caribbean Islands can flip-flops regulations on a dime if their loc... al numbers are on the rise. Check Celebrity's website Health and Safety banner closer to sailing.See More

A: They're owned by Royal Caribbean, so I would assume water policy is the same. Royal lets you bring up to 12 standard size water bottles when you board.

Q: Does anyone know about the rules/COVID testing for the Bermuda cruise leaving July 17th? Last time we talked to our travel agent he said there were a lot of rules with testing…that was a few months ago so hopefully things won’t be so bad by then. ~Thanks!

A: As far as I know in addition to whatever testing is required by a particular cruise line to board their ships, Bermuda itself requires a form to be filled out and processing fee paid. See www.gov.bm/applying-bermuda-travel-authorisation within 2-3 we... eks of sailing for the most current info. If timed correctly and the proper test type selected 1 test could satisfy both the cruise line and Bermuda.See More

A: We cruised to Bermuda in April of 2022. Filling out the paperwork as a nightmare because I did not hear from them. I was on our way to our flight when my travel agent said she had contacted the Bermuda office and indeed they were responding. There... was a fee and no one ever checked the paperwork. I hope you have a better experience.See More
