Fast and Easy. One of the best embarkations we have had with any cruise line.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

The lack of a good soda package was a negative. The dining was good, though some dishes were not as good as others. Buffet desert cakes were often dry and seemed packaged. But overall the food was good.

Onboard Activities

The library is in the center of the ship and is open to the central shaft, including the foyer. This made it a nosier than expected when reading.

Entertainment

Headliners were very good. The ships company were also good.

Service and Staff

Very friendly and willing to help. Never came in contact with a grumpy person. The upper command staff were more visible than on most other cruise lines.

Some areas that should have been quiet were nosier because of the open design of the central area.

Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin itself was fine. However, the veranda was questionable. When booking it was not indicated the stateroom had an obstructed view. It was also not noted that maintenance would be done on the life boats causing a great deal of noise and disturbance. We did not use the veranda multiple times because of this. The chairs on the veranda were also not very comfortable.
