Review summary

The cruise experience was great. To be honest, there isn't much to do on the cruise for younger people like me. The other cruise I've been onto had rock climbing, big basketball/soccer court, lots of pools, etc. However, I do like the customer service onboard.

Great, no issue.

Food and Dining

I wish there was more variety of fruits. The fruits provided didn't taste that well, such as pineapple. It was mostly either sour or tasteless. Since this is a cruise departing from Hawaii, it would've been nice to have some seasoned Hawaiian fruits. The pineapples, at the very least, should've tasted better.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
There were very few onboard activities that interested me. The pools are small. There is a half basketball court but it's small. The only thing I used the most is probably the fitness center.

Entertainment

I did not like the singing shows at all. To be honest, the singers weren't that good. I enjoyed the Lighthouse Strings (the violin/cello duet). The two acrobatic performance groups (two brothers, and one husband and wife group) were amazing.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The room attendant, and the waiters and waitresses were all amazing. Special shoutout to Maya, our assistant waitress in the dining room, her customer service was above and beyond. She memorized what our family likes to drink and prepare them beforehand. Every time she saw us, let it be breakfast or dinner, she always greeted us with a big smile and assisted us however we could. She deserves a promotion to be honest!!! She made me and my family feel like VIPs.

It is definitely always attracting the more mature aged cruiser, that's exactly why we love her so much. Many people, including friends, have said though that there just isn't enough to do for younger people & children.
