Review summary
We had a fantastic cruise, food was good, ports were great with lots of time for activities. Shows were great, martini bar was the best. We felt the cruise was really geared to older people, being we are 39 and 41 we didn't know a lot of the music and found it hard to find activities we were interested in. The ship never felt overcrowded (except in the buffet) which resulted in a nice relaxing vacation. I didn't really enjoy all the time changes during the sea days to get back to Vancouver time either.Embarkation
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
Grand Epernay Restaurant
Breakfast menu was really boring and coffee wasn't great. I think they could use a better menu for sea days. Lunch was pretty good but not a lot of selections. Dinner menu had lots of options but would like to see more warm soup options on sea days when its chilly outside.
Oceanview Cafe and Bar
Very disorganized and busy, lines going every direction. You would end up with your burger patty and toppings, can't find buns since they are on next counter over then condiments are across on other side. Your food was cold by the time you found everything.
Cafe al Bacio and Gelateria
This coffee place is awesome, coffee and pastries are delicious. Drinks at night are delicious. Racelli was a wonderful waitress always helpful with a smile on her face.
Luminae
Delicious food and great service.
Onboard Activities
Jogging Track
Difficult to use with all the people and deck chairs around it. It's a main pathway for people going from front to back of ship. Makes it hard to use it as intended.
