Review summary

6th celebrity cruise. They are penny pinching, no daily news digests printed for guests. No speciality restaurants for suite guests other than excellent luminae. have to ask for fruit in suites. Cannot use beverage package for room service drinks. only 1 device allowed on internet package. generally felt crew arrogant, not as friendly as Constellation. Still had very good cruise/holiday.

Embarkation

2 out of 5
We had agreed with Captains Club a wheelchair for our sister with whom we were travelling but none was provided at Sydney until we found a Celebrity staffer after Security. Then quite a wait. Security were horrendous, kept saying we had to leave our sister on her own while we boarded! we refused but they were unpleasant. Earlier no porters were available to take cases out of taxis so those of us who do not travel light had difficulty getting their bags to the porters who were loading ship.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Luminae Restaurant very good. Oceans Cafe not as good as previously, now closed 2 30 to 4 in afternoon.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
we enjoy jacuzzis and use in evening, pleased to say remain open now until 9/10pm.

Entertainment

2 out of 5
one decent oz female singer; nat king cole's nephew although only when he sang other people's songs not his own.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Butler Costin best of 10 we have had. Ryan waiter in Luminae outstanding. Michaels Club concierge very helpful.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The disabled suites on 12th floor are well designed but are also a long way from lifts? on Constellation they are by lifts. Michaels Club has no outside access again better on Constellation and Infinity.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
difficult to leave king bed.

Ship tip

book suite class.

skyrail and train journey worth the money

Brisbane, Australia

3 out of 5

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
had tight flight, was able to get off 7 10 am , very easy, porters available. Issue with wheelchair again though for sister.

Fake news. Cruise was in 2016. All review bad and Celebrity is the best.
