We rented a Jeep at coastal car rentals for $50 for the whole day. Had a great day exploring on our own. Coastal is very professional. Roads are very rough so if you do it make sure your up for the bumps and steep hills. Also the jeeps are manual transmission- so make sure you can drive stick or rent one of their cars. Avoid Lulus near Marigot. They microwaved the fish before serving it-- very tough and over cooked.
Don't Miss: The beach by the airport is a riot to see. The planes land just over head right over a gorgeous beach.

Great snorkeling tour to St. John - trunk bay is gorgeous. Very easy snorkel-- beginner level but nice large area to explore and relax. Increbibly beautiful beach.
Don't Miss: Trunk bay

San Juan, Puerto Rico

San Juan was great. The tree top canopy tour was great. Slightly pricey but worth it. The rain forrest is beautiful. Make sure to go straight to old san juan when you return. The town is great as is the food. Great restaurants. Even the street food is wonderful.
