My sister and I enjoyed every minute of our time on Celebrity Silhouette. My crew was so friendly and most of them had a smile everytime we met them anywhere on the ship. One negativewas the guests who were allowed to wear jeans and t-shirts in the dining rooms, one such time in the Murano restaurant. Another ngative was the guests who were allowed to "carry-on" in the Spa area of the Solarium, the adult-only pool. My perception is this pool is part of the Spa and should be a quiet, relaxing place for adults. A few times we left the Solarium because of the noise. Our suite butler Gene, and his assistant, Eugenio were great as well as our servers Marlon and Shine. They helped us feel so very special. Thanks so very much for giving us "happy crew" for "happy guests."

We enjoyed our 7 day cruise.  Met nice people, ship was most elegant.   We would definitely cruise on Celebrity again.   It is our favoritate cruiseline.  

It has been a while since my husband and I were able to go on a cruise.  This March was a very special month for us as we were celebrating our 45th anniversary and a special birthday for me.  We chose Celebrity as it was our favorite line when we travelled in the past.  We were not disappointed and had a wonderful time on the Silhouette. We were in the Royal Suite which was amazing.  We had so much fun that we decided not to wait so long to do another cruise and booked one for next March while we were on board.  We chose a 10 night cruise this time as we did not want to leave after 7 days.  The service everywhere on the ship was excellent.  We loved the specialty restaurant dining and will do that again next time. We also enjoyed the nightly entertainment and shows.  Where ever you went on board there was something fun to do.   Celebrity is the only cruise line we will ever use.

Let me start by saying that my wife and I have been cruising since 1977 and have been on over 100 cruises.  This includes just about all the cruise lines. We switched to Celebrity a few years ago and have sailed on the Equinox and Eclipse.  Both were very good but the Silhouette is now our favorite. The other two ships were very nice but the Silhouette is even better.

The Hot Glass Show on the top deck has been replaced by the Lawn Club Grille.  The Glass show is nice but after you see it once, it is just wasted space.  The Lawn Club Grille can be enjoyed more than once and is a lot of fun.  The wine cellar has been improved. The bar has been removed and there is more space there.

The crew is very friendly and the service great.  The Captain was able to dock in Labadee even in very high seas and wind. And had the good sense to leave early when it became a little too rough.

We liked the Silhouette so much that we just booked another cruise on it for the Holidays.

The cruise was wonderful! We like to relax on vacation and we were able to do just that! There were activities every minute of the day if that's what you wanted to do but if not, you could just enjoy the ship and the crew. The crew was very friendly and treated you like you were family. The specialty dining rooms were Outstanding (Food quality, Service, Ambiance)!!

The crew greeted you and seemed genuinely interested in helping you with anything you needed or wanted. Requests were taken care of quickly and with a smile. The Buffet was great and the staff was always around willing to get you anything (food or drinks!!). In other cruise lines, we've experienced the bar staff not really being interested in us once they find out we have a soda card...Not Here!! They still treated me wonderfully, as if I had a $50 tip I was going to give them! :)

We have been cruising since 1987 and have noticed the changes in the cruise lines (The cabin attendants being responsible for more cabins and not getting paid any more, dining room waiters responsible for more tables and people getting upset because they can't get their food quickly(Carnival) & other cut backs in a lot of areas except the pockets of the CEO's). That is why we decided to try Celebrity...We are SOOO happy we did!! Customer Service is important to us and they were EXCELLENT in customer service, the shows and the Specialty Dining!! We found the cruise line we were looking for! Celebrity...if you continue to keep the "bar" at such a high level...you'll have us as customers for life!!

great ship with outstanding service.  Would like adult pool as on other ships, but this was ok.  The 123GO package was fantastic, free drink package was included with trip.  Service seemed to have been cut back on pool deck but not to bad.  Would highly reccommend Celebrity if your considering your next cruise. I have Been on 27 cruises with 8 different lines and celebrity is one of the best.

Unless you have dinner after 8 PM you have to make a reservation for select dining.  Cruise was nice, upscale and geared towards adults.  No water slides, rock climbing walls,which was fine with me.  Food in dining room and cafateria was typical cruise ship fare, nothing special. Speciality restaurants were expensive approx. $40 per person. Very limited waiter service on deck and it was easier to get up and go to one of the many bars for a cocktail.  While the crowd was mostly middle aged people they were not as old as Holland America line which is generally older. Typical poolside games but you are unable to escape the constant music unless you go to the upper deck on the bow of the ship for some quiet time.  I'm told they replaced the piano bar loung with a speciality beer bar which was empty all the time. I enjoyed not having many children onboard and if you have children then this is not for you. RCI or Carnival might be a better choice.  While this report might seem a little negative i will go back to Celebity in the future. RCI too many kids,  Holland America too old.

This was cruise #41 for us. We have cruised for many years on several different Lines. This was one of our better experiences, We largely gauge a cruise on the food in the MDR and the overall service. This was VERY good on both counts. Getting on the ship was very smooth as they were very well organized. The entertainment was some of the best we have ever seen on a cruise ship.  We know that there is no such thing as a "perfect" cruise, but this was close.

Our only issue on this trip was we made the mistake of booking at the Rodeway Inn in Ft Lauderdale as a park and cruise motel. It turned out to be a dump and the shuttle service was terrible. Avoid this place if you are driving in for a park in cruise.

These girls were great sounded like carol king/ Carly Simon    The ship was wonderful.  A lot to do.  Persian garden we loved. Aqua class is the best. We also liked all the intertainment

I am a frequent cruiser and I can state that the food in the MDR was the best I ever had on any cruise.  The waiter and the assistant waiter made it shine  The entertainment was for most part excellent.  Kudos to the cruise director, her down to earth midwestern roots showed.  The only slightly objectional was the etitude of the room steward, but the assistant steward made up for it.

very good food, excellent staff.  Special kudos go out to Taz (Tas???) Very clean and up to date.  absolutely nothing negative to say about this cruise or their staff.

The Silhouette is a beautiful ship and sailed so smooth we didn'n know for sure we were under way.  All of the features of a cruise were handled professionally from the Captain down to the room steward.  Only exception we had was the food was not delicious overall.  Certain items were outstanding, but not as a whole.  The best meal was at the Tuscan Grille which was fantastic.

We didn't take many excursions because we had been there befrore and did our own thing.  One excursion was the historic / beach outing in Haiti and it was terrible.  Probably the second worst excursion we have ever been on.  We advised the excursion desk of our dissatisfaction on this one.

We found this to be an excellent cruise. We arrived around 12:00 noon and did not take long to check in. We only had to wait about 30 minutes to be able to get into our room. Meanwhile a drink was offered to us.

The shows were really great -

Everyone on board went out of their way to speak to us - a very friendly staff.

Our cabin boy was super as was our waiters at dinner.

We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet served in the dining room during the week  - amazing.

We rank Celebrity as one of our favorite cruise lines with good reason.  This ship is beautiful and there's lots to do.  The food and service are both excellent.  It is a very friendly and accommodating staff.  Most of the shows were entertaining and well worth watching. 

We don't care for open seating dining and we found it to be very inefficient.  You didn't really get to "eat when you wanted to" because there was generally a 30-minute wait w/o reservations.  When we tried to make a reservation, we were given the options of 5:30 or 8:30.  Again, not really "eating when we wanted to".  We were glad to get an assigned table at the late seating on day 2 so as not to deal with open seating.

There was a wonderful comedy show but it was in a small venue.  We didn't get to see it until our 4th attempt and even then we had to stand.  I would recommend that they hold it in a larger area with more people capacity.

All in all, we had a great time.

Information on the Restaurant and costs for speciality restaurant. Transportation for disabled besides wheelchairs. Golf carts to go from ship to port enter area. Longer stop over in key caribbean cities.

I had booked this cruise with low expectations. In the past, we had 10 perfect cruises with Celebrity followed by a very disappointing number 11. We stayed away from the line for 3 years before giving it another try. I think they are back on the top now. The dinners in the maln dining room (I refuse to go to specialty restaurants) were very good. The pool deck was so large and well designed that there was never a problem getting a deck chair in the shade. The stateroom was also well designed with space to put everyhing away. I like when the bathroom has enough storage space for what I bring. The staff could not be better. The captain was too good to be true. He seemed to come from Central Casting. He was attractive, very funny, very accessible to an extent I have never seen before (27 previous cruises). He even led an exercise program one morning.

Excellent Cruise.

The service was excellent.  The entertainment was extraordinarily good for a cruise ship; very professional, high quality.  We especially enjoyed dining in Blu. (Aqua Class state room) The menu selections were very good.  The flavor, especially for a "light" or "clean" menu was outstanding.  The presentation of the meals was 5-star as was the service.  Topping off the week was the couples massage.  We highly recommend this as a finisher to a very nice vacation.

Great itinerary, beautiful ship, fun Captin, good food, good value.  Very expensive excursions, internet access very expensive, library book selection poor, not enough leisure reading.  We had a really nice time and would go again.

Montenegro should be the next wonder of the world.  It was awesome!

Qsine was an experience you should not miss.

Tuscan Grill, also.  The crepes on Bristo on 5 are wonderful.  The show are an nightly must, plus you don't have to drive home.

Always something to do on the ship, your choice. Or relax on the verenda, I loved it!

You should have postcards in the gift shop from every port that you are visiting.

Your guests should be told when they book the cruise that some ports you have to go by tender.

Should offer people a tour, that is in between mild and wheelchair.  

Bathroom on the couch. In Florida, they have a bus that tilts, so people with mobility problems, can step on and off.  That would be a real plus for people with that problem

All tours should have audio.  You can't hear the tour guide unless you are near him.

Should offer for people that are in betweein mild to wheelchair a staff member from the different countries that are visited to take a small group at a slower pace, and a rest stop.  For a fee.

Soothing instrumental music while eating/reading in the background, perhaps music from the counry that we are visiting.

Also, their special food/desserts onboard when we return from our tours.

Dining Room Cuvee' and Oceanview Cafe was not as good as on our last cruise, on the 2011 cruise on the Solstice.
