MAIN OVERALL WAS LIVE MUSIC VERY POOR DJ, NO MANY PLACE TO DANCE, AND FOOD QUALITY AND DIVERSITY VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE MAIN DINNING ROOM, QSINE SPECIALTY RESTAURANT A BIG DISAPPOINTMENT QUALITY AND FOOD DIVERSITY

This is a holiday cruising so the crowd is a mix of kids, teenagers, young people and older people. We love Celebrity because the type of passengers tend to dress nicer especially during the evenings. Celebrity offers exceptional client service. Its ships are beautiful and look very new! The dining experience is amazing with many delicious meals. The itinerary is nice except St. Croix where there is not much to visit or do.

Please note that with the exception of Dominica we did not go on any excursions or island tours. We just explore what is available directly off the pier. However, we heard good things from other passengers on excursions and island tours. In Dominica we went on the excursion to see the black sand beach. Sadly, it was mostly gray sand. But it was a beautiful day, as was the ocean. The locals were walking around selling their crafts. They were very friendly, in spite of the fact a lot of the island was flattened by hurricane Maria in 2017. This was our 24th cruise, first time with Celebrity. We were very impressed with this ship and the line. The Silhouette was maintained, cleaner and in better shape then the one year old MSC ship we were on last month. It's a very elegant ship with a wonderful crew. The cruise director Sue was fabulous, hilarious and very talented. Our room steward, Anthony, was very hard working and always around if you needed something. In 12 days, everytime we went back to the room (AM & PM) our room was always cleaned. The menu in the main dining room was a little disappointing, however, they did have a lobster night and escargot was available daily. We found the late seating at 8:30 was just a little to late for us and with the menu not very impressive, we ate in the buffet most nights. We found the buffet selections very good for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Quality was good. Juices, water, iced tea, hot tea and coffee available 24 hours. The nightly entertainment varied. The ship dancers and aerialists were very good, however, the singers not so much. Some of the acts that were brought in were very good. Such as, an acapella group with a "human instrument", a piano player that had performed with Liberace, a few of the singers and a wonderful comedian that was suitable for all ages. Be sure and try the "Silent Disco". Very original and fun!

Ship needs updating. Food menu needs more variety. Ship needs more elevators and public restrooms, and menus at the bars to inform you what they can make at that particular bar and the cost of those drinks are completely missing. Linens, mattresses, carpet, floor under carpet in cabin (popping noises in a couple of places as you walk across floor) and climate control within the cabins all need work. After the first 4 days or so we were so tired of the same food. In addition, there isn't much to choose from on the room service menu without paying $$$$$. We're sure they do this so you will pay those big bucks for the speciality restaurants -- which are all incredibly expensive. And there are a LOT of speciality restaurants to choose from. You've already paid for your meals, you shouldn't have to pay more. Their drinks, even the nasty tasting bottled water, are incredibly expensive. In addition, frozen cocktails are not made properly. They are very consistently made incorrectly so it's obvious they are taught to make them incorrectly. We've cruised with Holland America, Norwegian and Carnival in the past and wanted to try a luxury line. Holland America is more luxury than Celebrity, at least the Silhouette. This was our least favorite cruise ship.

We liked this first cruise in the Caribbean for the itinerary, but given that all the islands are very similar we do not think that we will go back soon. Except for the food we like the Silhouette ship.

Although the Silhouette is modern and efficient, some facilities (sauna, changing room, library, coffee stations in cafeteria style dinning are too small for 3,000 passengers. The food and services are great. Room 2140 and I assume all 12th floor rooms are extremely noisy from about 4 AM to 7AM due to cafeteria setup operations on 14th floor directly above. The room itself is very comfortable.

It was a nice relaxing cruise, but nothing special. I had heard the Canary Islands was a popular vacation spot for Europeans, so I always thought of it as being very nice. However, I live close to the Caribbean and it cannot compare.

Celebrity production shows (Pearl, Cosmopolitan, Life) are flimsy and witless; Celebrity should not be gouging passengers for shuttles from industrial port to downtown; cruise director should not be trolling for 10's on the Celebrity post-cruise survey. --Steve Kenney, Salem, Oregon

Perhaps the best all around cruise we have ever taken. Everything was exceptional from the staff, crew, and ports of call.

Great staff, food, entertainment, accomodations and ammenities! Celebrity really is well organized and all excursion departures, embarkment and disembarkment always go so smoothly. I'm always amazed by the ease in which this seems to be accomplished. Thank you for an amazing & memorable trip!!

It was a beautiful, interesting cruise. The service overall, except in the caffe on the 14th floor, was excellent.. The staterooms are very comfortable and clean. Entertainment was excellent. I wish Celebrity would exercise more control over groups of teen agers being loud and running in hallway.

We were a group of 18 people and were treated llike royalty. I would be happy to do it again.

Food quality offerings going down hill. Tuscan Grille and Morano, worth the extra money

It was a pity that I knew many things later as it was my first cruise, but somewhat satisfied.

This was our third Celebrity cruise. We were very happy and impressed with the ship and its staff. We already booked our next cruise with Celebrity.

Carnival will not get a dime from me ...Celebrity the only way to go ! Celebrity Edge booked for 2020!

Good cruise, great food, clean ship excellent service from all of the cruise staff.
