This was a wonderful vacation with lots of interesting ports. The ship was beautiful, and the staff was amazing.

Every meal was delicious, and the service was outstanding. As on all cruise ships, the buffet was overcrowded at times.

The onboard activities were the best we have seen in years. Interesting lectures on sea days. Outstanding evening entertainment. By far, my favorite activity was the silent disco.

Ship tip
This is a wonderful cruise for adults of all ages. Kids are welcomed but no slides, etc, for kids. I counted about a dozen very well-behaved kids.
The highlights of this port were the beautiful views from an old port high above the city. We also enjoyed the beautiful cathedral with the stories of its history.
The ship docked about 2 hours from Bordeaux, so excursions were long. Bordeaux is a pretty city, and we had an excellent lunch at an outside cafe.
The second day, we went to two wineries about an hour away from the ship.
We were in Lisbon for 2.5 days.
We took a hop on hop off bus and saw the many different parts of the city.
The second day we went to 2 cities outside the city. A beach town with a Nice or Palm Beach flair. Then to a mountain top city with a rich history from Moorish Fort to Gothic Palace.
Another outstanding port, with beautiful views of the Atlantic and Mediterranean. We enjoyed seeing the Gibraltar Apes and the military tunnels from WWII.
You can also see Spain and Northern Africa from this port. Our sailaway was beautiful!
