Review summary

Celebrity has made a lot of cuts in the past year that make it very difficult to sing their praises any longer. For the amount they charge, I feel you're not getting a good value.

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Food was always either over or under cooked. Canned pop was never cold. Food in Buffett was pretty bad. MDR long wait times, drinks not arriving until food was on table. Food was bland and choices were uninspired

Service and Staff

Mast bar staff are hands down the best!! Our room attendant was just ok - not overly friendly. We felt like we never saw her.

Unfortunately all the cruise lines are made major cutbacks. I usually do Royal, but the last time was awful. Food was not up to standard, room attendant was not friendly or helpful.

Appreciate your detailed review. Sorry you feel the cutbacks are too severe to meet the standards you expect. Hope your next cruise is better.

It looks like you had a great time and itinerary. Thanks for sharing. I have 3 post covid rides on different lines, princess, celebrity and holland. They all were less than I expected. Cruises are still a great value, but they are not the same pre covid anywhere.

Well to be fair, the Silhouette is not a very new ship. So the cutbacks are not surprising. I learned when sailing on Infinity that Celebrity is putting their money into the new Edge classes. They keep pushing back the drydocks for the other classes like Millennium and even Solstice. Infinity was to be drydocked in 2020, then 2021, then 2022.
