Enjoyable cruise with relaxing sea days at beginning and end.

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Main dining room efficient with friendly wait staff, food choices (especially starters) became repetitive and not as varied choices/ sophistication of previous celebrity cruises.
Lawn Club grill not good - noises, Smokey, sides cold, poor wine service (sommelier mixed wines in glass) crumble desert was not cooked properly.
Q-Sine and Merano excellent.
Buffet well presented with plenty of choice, staff very good but very busy on sea days.
Pool burger and hot dog snack bar was very good too.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Facilities all clean, tidy and in working order.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
Sue, cruise director was the highlight of the entertainment team, British sense of humour, not appreciated by some of the North American’s on board but as a fellow Brit, excellent. Late night show in small theatre always a laugh!
Singers were the best in Celebrity I’ve seen in a while, production shows OK, nowhere near as good as Royal Caribbean but killed an hour.
Wasn’t too fussed on guest entertainers, a bit basic offering (comedian, magician and violinist).
Live music around the ship was plentiful and nice to see.
Children's Programs
Not travelling with children
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Room steward excellent, best I’ve had for always, twice a day, leaving room spotless and like I’d just walked in to it for the first time.
All the staff around the ship polite, well presented and efficient - only problem was in the Lawn Club Grill, bad dining experience all round.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Silhouette is 10 years old but has aged very well, still spotless in public areas with a little wear and tear but is bye a refit in 6 weeks time so I’m sure it will be looking very smart in the future
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Standard Balcony, very comfortable and good size, balcony wall able to be opened to cabin next door with family travelling with us, made for a good size balcony. Great shower, TV’s due for an upgrade though.
Ship tip
Not really a ship for young families or late night ravers.
Nice quiet beach with hermit crabs and snorkelling opportunities, not much else around the port - the Danish Fort is not maintained and not much of a photo op.
Hired a car from Avis on the day in port for $110 and managed to drive around whole island in 3 hours, great views of Nevis, volcano, and largest fort in Caribbean. Beaches are volcanic, wild and not as nice as other stops, though.
Long que waiting for customs clearance as a self assist disembark guest, no guidance from staff on the morning with fellow passengers literally shouting at each other from cutting in the que!
