This was my first cruise but it won’t be my last. I really enjoyed the ship, the ports, and just the whole experience. There were not many younger people or children on this ship, so we were mostly all in the same circumstances. I really was impressed how organized everything was.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
We took a taxi instead of a shuttle from our hotel. Cheaper and a great experience.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The food choices were outstanding, but some meals disappointed somewhat. Tough lamb, overdone steak. Pastries with little flavor. Other meals were amazing! We didn’t opt for the drink package, so I thought the drinks were expensive, including $5 for bottled water.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
There were many activities to choose from. I loved the trivia and the game shows. Sometimes an activity was not started on time, or at all.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The shows were amazing! I went to every one and enjoyed them all.
Children's Programs
I had no children with me.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Joy, our room steward was excellent. Waiters and servers in the main dining room and the cafeteria were wonderful too.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
I loved the central foyer and how the music from there could be heard throughout the ship! Everything was clean, but showing some wear.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
It was plenty spacious enough for two. The veranda was great.
Ship tip
If you are a coffee drinker, bring a travel mug with you. I bought one at our second stop and was happy to have it.
I would have liked more time here. We took a walking tour of Old San Juan and there were many museums I would have liked to explore. We had dinner at Barrachina, a recommendation I got on this web site. It was great.
We went on the Celebrity Snorkeling excursion, and it was pretty good. The weather was a bit stormy so I guess they had to bring us to an alternate spot. There wasn’t much to see. There was a lot of rum punch though.
We took a hike in the rainforest to a national park. It was beautiful and our guides were excellent. It ended at a waterfall that you cloudLibrary slide down and that was fun.
