Review summary

Ultimately we had a great time on the Celebrity Reflection. It was our first cruise with Celebrity and will definitely cruise with them more in the future. The embarkation, staff and ship were great. Our biggest disappointment was the Main Dining room and charges for specialty dining.

Embarkation

Emabarkation was great! Very fast and efficient with very little wait time

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The Main dining room service was Very poor. Let me clarify, the staff were great! But the choices and quality of food was very poor. We talked with many others as well that felt the same way. Food was over cooked, very bland at times and just all around sub par for what we expected. And We are not happy with having to pay for the specialty restaurants. Prefer the All Inclusive style of dining. We only found one specialty restaurant that was worth paying extra, and that was the Italian( Murano). All in All we found the buffet to be the best food option on the ship. With lots to choose from and Very well maintained. The food quality and taste Far exceeded the main dining room. Go figure

Onboard Activities

The Shows, pools, fitness center all Spa were all great.

Entertainment

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Pretty much All the staff we encountered were great. Some more than others for sure, such as the guys at the Martini Bar. They were all Awesome. Suparna, Wyan, Dika and Ketut always made us laugh and smile while providing top notch service. Charlie and Vicktoria at the World Class Bar were also Great And the stateroom attendant was great as well.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Very well maintained and clean. Size and layout made for easy navigation

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Size and cleanliness were great. Decor and bed seemed a bit outdated. And only one power outlet made things challenging

Ship tip

Do not pay the extra for Concierge service. The extras were not worth the price and the actual concierge staff were hard to find
