Revelation has the staff/workers to care for the passengers. The food needs a great deal of improvement. I have to believe the problem is the Officers not following the Guidelines/Protocols set by upper management of Celebrity Cruises. It was sad to see this as we have never been disappointed with a Celebrity Cruise before.
Embarkation
2 out of 5
Local Individuals in Aqua Shirts were giving conflicting information to passengers. No Celebrity Staff visible during my embarkation time. Celebrity states "Priority given to Suite Cabin Passenger". This embarkation and disembarkation also felt very much like hurry up and wait - herding cattle.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
2 out of 5
I found the bar drinks to be good throughout the ship. However the food was below par in ALL areas of this ship. When the cheeseburger grilled by the pool is the highlight - this leaves much room for improvement. Very disappointing.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Activities provided onboard were fun and typical. Especially enjoyed the two evenings of Silent Disco.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
Seems COVID forced many of the very best entertainers to leave Cruise Ships for other employment. It was great to see improvement in this area. Very nice!
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
The staff onboard was for the most part kind, helpful, busy and smiling at all times.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Ship's layout and design is a bit older but certainly easy to navigate. Ship it showing some age but staff was nonstop cleaning and tending to repairs daily.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Enjoyed our cabin very much. The bath tub is a pleasure to have as well as the extra storage. Our cabin was clean and comfortable and we were not crowded for space.
As stated at the beginning - I felt like it was herding cattle. There was no priority given to Suite Passengers. I waited 30 minutes to speak to an Officer about this issue and I do not know if my words were understood or not.
For me and my husband, the whole reason we cruise is to see what other cities are like and what they have to offer. EVERY port you visit should be an ADVENTURE whether you’ve been there or not! We have the Bahamas, Jamaica, Grand Cayman and Cozumel in three weeks. All new ports for us except Cozumel. There we are taking a boat to Cancun for the Mayan Ruins at Tulum. Adventure waits! Time to EXPLORE!
Wow, not the norm for retreat guests. Must have been a fluke. We were just on the reflection in February. Retreat guests had their own check in and disembarkation was a breeze, go to Michaels club and the concierge walked you to the gangway whenever you were ready to go.
