Review summary

Overall, I give this cruise a 9.5. Not much selection change in main dining hall each evening. Found myself having the same stuff nearly every night. Hard time understanding waiter, due to accent. All staff wonderful and helpful. Entire ship kept clean and tidy. Shows and bands were very good. Lack of shops and items available onboard. Our balcony room was lovely. Would choose Celebrity again.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Main dining room was very lovely, overall good service. Had difficulty understanding our waiter due to language and pronunciation. Visited Le Petit Chef and had the privilege of viewing the 3D meal, plus steak was excellent. Buffets were good, really appreciated the gleuten free, sugar free desserts!

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
I attended the dance lessons put on by the entertainment staff. They were helpful and enthusiastic. Also attended the dancing at night.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Really enjoyed the shows and musicians and performers.

Children's Programs

No kids.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our room steward, Joywil, was the best ever, very attentive, everything we asked for was taken care of. Other ship personnel, always had a phone with them, to get your questions answered. Waiter, had difficulty understanding him, due to accent.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
All clean and well maintained. I thought though that the central meeting area was a bit small.

Cabin / Stateroom

Loved how the bed was large and curved. The mattress was too hard for my liking. The size was good, but not enough drawers to store your clothes. Closet was small too. Was very clean.

Ship tip

Be prepared to be satisfied.

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

No excursion taken.

George Town, Grand Cayman

Had an excellent time visiting the Turtle Sanctuary and then the Sting Ray City swim and feeding of the stingrays. Would do these again!

Cartagena, Colombia

Did not appreciate the street vendors immediately in your face heavily pushing their wares as soon as you exited the tour bus. I felt like a "mark" the entire time, cause we all stood out as a tour group with the numbers on our chest and led by our tour guide. Constantly bombarded by vendors.

Colon, Panama

We hired a taxi driver to take us to the new and old locks. We were driven through the city that was horrifically poor and filthy. Block upon block of abandoned homes with no doors or windows, trash spilling out and filth everywhere. Plus, sickly stray dogs made me very sad.

Puerto Limon, Costa Rica

We did the ziplining and had a lot of fun. The bus ride there and back is long and tires you out.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

We did the visit to Bakalar Lagoon and it was lovely and the swimming and lunch was very good, but again, the ride there and back was very long and tiring. Our hostess, Judith was excellent.

Cozumel, Mexico

This was our favorite excursion by far. Loved the dolphin and manatee interaction. Our pictures turned out great. Only problem for me was the luncheon. Nothing but lettuce for me to eat on my Keto diet. Not a lot of selection. Beautiful views and swimming hole.

Disembarkation
