Outstanding service, very friendly stuff, even at most busy places like the Cafe al Bacio! Both cabin and public areas were very clean. Food and service at the Blu restaurant was fantastic :-)))

Alaska Cruise - Celebrity Millennium by brightsailor

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Celebrity Millennium / Destination: Alaska - Gulf of Alaska

This was a great experience!!!   The destination, the ship, the crew everything was totally perfect.  I am a serial traveler, and I had my whole family with me.    We were all totally impressed!!!

Thank you captain Costas.  You and your team were great!!!!   We felt and were totally safe in your hands.

The food especially at the Olympic restaurant an incredible experience.  I lived in France for many years and I have been to many great French restaurants.   I never thought, my best dining experience would be on a ship on my way to Alaska.   The Olympic is that good.

Congratulations Celebrity.   This cruise is a real winner!!!

Awesome by jbsnanna

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Millennium / Destination: Alaska - Gulf of Alaska

This actually was my first cruise and I was pretty apprehensive.  Celebrity Cruises from check in to entering the boat made it so easy and very comfortable.  The apprehensive was totally gone.  The rooms are a little small but you know what you stay in there long anyway.  All I can say is it was awesome, we were taken care of totally and we will be doing it again.Love

Usual Celebrity Excellence by mojodave1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Millennium / Destination: Alaska - Gulf of Alaska

Service, food, shore excursions were all superb.  So much so that we booked our next cruise while on board!  Love Millenium and it's character.  Chipper and Fred Klett were awesome entertainers.  The Captain was masterful at approaching the glacier (got much closer that I ever thought possible).  Our cabin attendant was great at making witty "sculpture" with our blankets and towels!  We loved coming back each day to see what he made us.  The new restaurant Qzine was fabulous.

Once in a lifetime experience by shirley62059

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Millennium / Destination: Alaska - Gulf of Alaska

We were on the celebrity millenium from Seward to Vancouver lving May 30.  We were celebrating my husbands 80's birthday with ALL of our family totalling 20.  It was an amazing experience, one we will never forget and I'm sure our family won't either.  The accomadations were sufficient, the entire crew was helpful and very friendly. The young people enjoyed the activities and we all enjoyed the shows.

This cruise compared with any or all of our other cruises and we would highly reccomment the Celebrity Millenium to couples or to families.

Very good cruise vacation by zzjjchen

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Celebrity Millennium / Destination: Alaska - Gulf of Alaska

We went with my old colleague.  The stateroom is very clean. Cruise staff are very friendly, they played some tricks with us on dinner table and we did have very good time. Gym is on deck 10 in front of the ship with great 270 degree view; it is definitely one of the best one.  Shows are pretty good too.  We also found some surprise in almost each stop. We saw some wild whale, bears (one brown and one black), and eagles. It is a great vacation.

Southeast Asia Cruise by dunninge

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Celebrity Millennium / Destination: Other (Asia/Africa/Middle East)

The cruise was very nice.  We did not have enough time to see Singapore.  Bangkok is the hit of the cruise.  The three Vietnam cities are pretty much all the same.  Crowded, busy, dirty (after Singapore) and less interesting.  The museums are stark and punishing, especially the War Crimes Museum. The Pagados are less colorful that Bangkok, the temples greyer and less friendly.  Hong Kong was fun, especially the Hop on Hop off tour.  Victoria's Peak is not to be missed.

Worth the long Plabe Ride by Westham

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Millennium / Destination: Other (Asia/Africa/Middle East)

The is just a quick review, first time on Celebrity and I can confirm it was enjoyable, the only draw back was that the ship was recovering from the dreaded sicknes virus so serval things were either not available or just slow going, but having said this the cruise was good, The food and staff were up to most cruis ship standards and the entertainment was very good and above most other line, the ship itself is beginning to show ut's age and I heard a runor that it will be repalced over the next year or so.

It was a long plane ride to Hong Kong and another long one home from Singapore but I would recomend this cruise and all of the ports visited.

14 night Gems of Southeast Asia by Shirish

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Millennium / Destination: Other (Asia/Africa/Middle East)

Had a wonderful experience. The staff were friendly and made us feel at home.

Guest services could have handled the billing better to avoid embarrassment. I was informed of billing error at the departure gate on my way out, causing the final tour excursion to be delayed while waiting for me.

Basically a good cruise. by evjerr

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Millennium / Destination: South Pacific

We were disappointed with the ship. The Millennium is old. However, the service was terrific, especially our Butler William.  The food in the main dining room (Metropolitan) and the Oceanview Cafe was not that great.  The Blu restaurant was very good but that was for Aqua Level people. We enjoyed the two specialty restaurants (The Olympic and Qsine) were excellent. We enjoyed the big extravaganza shows and the he singers and dancers were terrific.

We really enjoyed the talented Christina Bianco and the Finkle Family!  Fyvush Finkel, 91, wowed the audience by singing "If I were a rich man.." From Fiddler on the Roof.

Celebrity Millenium Alaska Cruise - Be Careful with their disappearing OBCs! by FreqFloaters

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Millennium / Destination: Alaska - Gulf of Alaska

Overall, the cruise was nice. We have cruised with Celebrity 5 times so far and this particular cruise was in the middle of the pack. Alaska was a great place to visit. Got to see some exotic animals in their natural habitat and the Alaskan landscape is beyond amazing! The Millennium ship itself was good overall but we found the on-board activities to be rather sparse compared to other Celebrity cruises and the ship itself could use some repair and refurbishment. The one thing that we found most disappointing was that Celebrity had given us a $200 On Board Credit which was clearly noted on the final invoice we received before our travels. Once we were on-board and AFTER we had spent the credit amount on some overpriced spa services, they suddenly informed us that our OBC was actually only $100 and we were left to pay the additional charges. We spoke to Guest Services who did nothing to resolve this issue. This hardly seems like the right way to treat frequent cruisers! While we still like Celebrity overall, we will be much more careful with them in the future to assure up front that they will actually deliver what they promise.

Wonderful summer week cruising glaciers by KymB

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Millennium / Destination: Alaska - Gulf of Alaska

Our stateroom had a much larger port window than other cruises we've taken and was very comfortable. Celebrity food was better than other cruises too. Staff was excellent, shows were excellent, art gallery was excellent. We were lucky to go during late July when the weather was perfect; sunny and warm; abundant salmon brought seals, whales, and even eagles fishing beside our ship. Port excursions to glaciers were awesome. Saw bears, moose, caribu, and streams full of salmon. Awesome experience!

Disappointed by ElyriaOhio

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Millennium / Destination: Alaska - Gulf of Alaska

This was our 6 or 7 cruise and at the advice of others booked on Celebrity. Disappointed in food, beverages, services; especially since we had a concierge suite - hardly ever saw our "butler". Had to ask for ice and facecloths.

Celebrity Millinium - Alaska by JaninePace

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Celebrity Millennium / Destination: Alaska - Gulf of Alaska

The beginning of the trip was a bit of a concern as it had come from the Far East and people had been ill. The good news was they had removed everyone and sanitized the ship. We had 3 people in a "famly" balcony room. Even though it would be good for 2 people, 3 adults just didn't make it. The food in the dinning room was very good, however, the buffet was a bit disappointing. This was my 3rd Celebrity Cruise and in the past have preferred it to other lines. This one wasn't as good as the past ones, which was disapponinting. The steward down the hall helped us more than our own did, the spa staff were great and most of the food staff were also great. But after being on one cruise for 37 days I have to give them all a bit of slack.

General observations of our trip by Hks

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Millennium / Destination: Other (Asia/Africa/Middle East)

The crew, staff & all personnel were of utmost professionalism & very helpful. The excursions travel time were too long. The food on the ship was good for breakfast but fair & sometimes mediocre for dinner in the main dining rooms. The dessert chef has not idea what he was making because the tiramisu tasted like lemon mousse & so on . The ship general public areas were dated & so was the handicapped room we were in.
