Review summary

This was a smaller ship, but smaller does not mean worse. It was nice that we could get from one end to the other in a reasonable amount of time and not be exausted when we got there! :) Of course, there was always food available, drinks if you wanted and entertainment. This trip and maybe this ship had the more mature generation aboard so there was not alot of "rowdy" drinkers aboard which was NICE. Also not many children so the ones that were there got alot of attention! :) Stateroom was clean and when we asked for a mattresses topper to make the bed more comfortable it was there by bedtime that evening as well as softer pillows. Staff was very involved to the point of being in some of the entertainment right up to the Captain. We frequently saw the head chef and other top management out making sure things were going well for the guests. Overall, this was an exceptional cruise and I would absolutely do it again.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We ate at the early seating (6:00). Originally we were booked at a large table, but chose to have intimate dining. Asked for a table for two and was immediately granted our wish!

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We didn't see all the shows, but the ones we did see were clean and the dancers/singers were "dressed" for the most part! :) Scheduling was fine and quality was great. Expecially liked the crew talent show.

Service and Staff

No complaints with staff. Always helpful and greeted us with smiles.

Ship Quality

Ship is going in for refurbishment soon, but it was very nice as is so I imagine it will come back amazing!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Stateroom was very clean and comfortable. We did ask for a mattress topper (memory foam) after the first night and it was there by the 2nd night. Also asked for different pillows which were received immediately. After that we slept beautifully. Amenities were fine other than the hair dryer....it was a bit dated but got the job done. Stateroom location was near the rear of the ship and on deck 7. Balcony. Location was perfect for us.

Ports of call

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

Had an amazing tour with tour guide Isaiah. Young man....5th generation Honduran. Knew just the right places to take us and had exceptional knowledge of his homeland. Perfect tour with a perfect tour guide. Also, was an unexpected private tour! Bonus!

Cozumel, Mexico

Met with small group and went snorkling. Very good guides. Very safety conscious. If you could swim you were not required to wear a life jacket...bonus! Reef was ok...not alot of activity on this day, but apparently was better the day before. Boat was clean and crew attentive. Would do this again.

Pros: Polite staff, seemed to genuinely want to make us happy

Cons: the bed and pillows, until we asked for (and received) memory foam and feathers
