This was an Xmas cruise, meant to give me more time in Cozumel.
Embarkation

Having my own embarkation area for AquaClass was nice. It was small and quaint with free drinks (no booze) and snacks.

Food and Dining

The SpaCafe and Blu were awesome. The Main dining room was a bit disappointing. The portions were very small, and the table arrangement was subpar. The Equinox had round tables. The Infinity put us in small square tables pushed together to form long rectangular tables. Blah!

THIS PLACE IS DANGEROUS. IT HAS REALLY GOOD FOOD THAT WILL HAVE TO ADD TO THE SHIP'S MASS

Onboard Activities

I spent more time in the casino here than I did on Equinox. But the Art Gallery was nice and more painting from my favorite artist: Chris Derubeis. But unlike on the Equinox the auction was very boring. The guy had no pizazz. The Persian Garden wasn''t an actual garden, just the place you go to have a spa day, sauna, or fancy foo-foo showers.

Entertainment

Ugh! Once dance and song shows were once again a bunch of millennials just singing covers of pop songs. BUT the adult comedians were hilarious, though!

Service and Staff
4 out of 5
My serviceman was not as attentive as Afif was on the Equinox. He seemed a little annoyed or distracted. And the staff seem more...well at one point in the Cellar Masters two bartenders broke out in an argument and when the other went backstage the other one followed to continue the argument. Not cool for a paying passenger to see that.
Ship Quality

The Infinity was 19 years old. So there was wear and tear all over. Rust and whatnot. The ship wasn''t due for a remodel (revolution) until later the next year (2020). But overall it was nice. However, the weather had the decks always wet and slippery, and the wind wasn''t nice. It would have been nice if they place non slip mates out, but that may seem excessive since this wasn''t a full luxury cruise.
Cabin / Stateroom
3 out of 5
It was much smaller than the Consierge cabin aboard the Equinox. But this is an older ship. It was comfortable. The service wasn''t as attentive as on the Equinox. The balcony was smaller as was the bathroom. BUT again this is an older ship. There was a loud noise by my bed; my neighbor explain it was the A/C and told me how to shut it off. Overall, it was OK - just not the AquaClass experience I was expecting.
Ship tip
I like this ship for it's small & quaint size. The Persian Garden was a nice experience; used the sauna daily. Ate at the SpaCafe 1st day, LOVED IT! Blu was great but the SAME MENU every night hurt the experience. Always use hand sanitizer! Avoid the silly musicals, not the comics nor Silent Disco.
I didn't spend to much time here. It was nice to see the airport, and visit the common ares near the ship port, though. I had more fun in the Everglades post cruise. I went aboard the hover boats and saw some awesome gators
This small key reminds me of Santa Monica and Venice Beach. I live the culture and chickens running around. The 🐔🐓 chickens run the city!! Be kind to the Chickens or else!
I love the beaches and shops. This is great spot. Those who complain just don't appreciate Mexico and what has to offer. I did the underground river tour inside the caves and it was amazing. My first time here I did an helmet dive. It was cool but the blanket and other souvenirs I bought were better.
