Review summary

Overall the cruise was average. Passengers tended to be much older. Ship was getting old and needs a refurb (which is coming). Staff seemed overworked and were sometime short or outright rude. Rooms weren’t cleaned well. Food is was good overall yet not exceptional.

Long lines to check in for all classes. Quick to board once receiving our cards. Took a long time for room to become available.

Main dining room was decent. Better food than some other lines. Menu was varied and the wait staff was excellent.

Staff often seemed overworked and put out. Cabin steward constantly talked about how he should be sleeping when we slept in and he made up the room despite being told he didn’t have to. Bartenders are short or outright rude. No one ever had a smile on their face or introduced themselves. Overall the worst service I’ve received in 15 years of cruising. Will keep me from booking with Celebrity.

Ship Quality

The ship was clean overall except for our stateroom. In need of a refurbishment that will happen later in the year. Plumbing broke in one of the public bathrooms causing it to flood

Cabin / Stateroom

Nothing was wiped down when we arrived. Luckily I had brought Lysol wipes to clean. Toilet seat was disgusting. (See photo) Room is small but has fairly decent storage. Plenty of hangers. Mini bar was minimally stocked. Needs better lighting.

Ship tip

Stay away from the elevators mod ship. Always crowded and took too long. Also if you are looking for a quiet spot to lay out, the front of the ship was rarely crowded and was very peaceful.
