Tried to cheat me on damaged luggage replacement value.

Damaged new ( 3 month old samsonite 3 piece city scape luggage set ($500). Tried to use ebay used luggage piece as basis for replacement value. Then said they would have replacement cost with 40% depreciation . But discounted value by 60%. After arguing for 30 minute finally admitted they would drop ebay price and I was right that they need to use the 40% discount not a 60% discount.
