Review summary

I was in need of relaxation and getting away and the cruise did that. But Celebrity was the highest rated cruise ship. I was a bit disappointed. Look forward to crusing on the new ship in 2020 with high expectations. Prayfully they will be!

Embarkation

Great line moved quickly

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Dining experience were great in specialty restaurants. Buffets I found that the food was not hot. Seemed like it was pre-cooked and brought out when pans were empty. I was greatful for the stations where I could get meals cooked and they would be hot.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Did not use them

Entertainment

1 out of 5
Did not think they had a stage show or performances. Disappointed.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Jean was very helpful and attentive to our needs and our room.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Everything was clean and attention of details was taken.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Expected a little more? Saw the Concierge title and thought it was something special or a upgrade from a stateroom. Turns out Concierge was a "Balcony" The bed was horrible it was almost like sleeping on the floor. Body was sore and needed Tylenol (did not have any and a $4.00 bottle cost me $12.00 on the ship!) Needed the relaxation and it was perfect for that... but was disappointed!

Ship tip

Improve the beds!!! Find a better way to keep the food hot

I wouldn’t rate food on a ship based on buffet, I avoid them because I find them all disappointing. Concierge staterooms differ from balcony in that it affords you some suite level perks, such as hot breakfast to your cabin where others can only order continental. We love that perk!
