I’ve cruised a lot, and this was my first time on Celebrity. I wanted to try them out on a short cruise before booking longer cruises to Alaska, Galapagos, and the Mediterranean. Although we paid extra for concierge level, we never felt we got that type of service. Everything that was promised in their brochure didn’t happen. No concierge champagne, fruit, embarkation lunch, etc...we asked about these things and there was always excuses.
The ship is in bad condition, and in need of a renovation/dry dock ASAP. Our stateroom was like a bad hotel room...the entertainment was all below average. I guess if you’re just looking to eat a lot and gamble, this would be a good cruise. But if you want good service, food, and accommodations, I would Not recommend this cruise line.
Embarkation

The actual process of checking in was simple, but once we boarded the ship, it was mass chaos. Loud music by a DJ, and every crew member trying to sell you drink and dining packages. There was no clear direction where to go...
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
2 out of 5
The buffet was meh. If you have any food allergies/sensitivity, you’re on your own. Even the main dining room manager almost gave me something I was allergic too after he said it was fine. Qsine is over priced for the quality of food they serve. Sushi on 5 and the spa cafe was excellent, and the best food on board.
Onboard Activities

The pools were not kept in good condition. There was mismatched paint and broken tiles. The solarium pool was better than the main pool.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The DJ was way too loud and the music was inappropriate for the crowd. The entertainment was laughable; think high school musical...the costumes and set decor was awful
Children's Programs
No kids with us
Service and Staff
2 out of 5
There were a few waiters that were excellent as was our room steward...but a majority lacked training, knowledge, and even the ability to speak English. It seems like Celebrity brings their new hires on this ship for training..
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
This ship is in MAJOR need of a remodel. Rust all over the ship, chipped and dirty furniture in our cabin and in the public areas.
Cabin / Stateroom

We certainly did not feel like we were in concierge class. The room was like a Motel 8...dirty sofa, stained chairs, cracked sink, chipped night stand
Ship tip
Don’t go on this ship if you want first class service, food, and accommodations
We did the trolley tour through Key West...complete disorganization getting off the ship...tour guide was knowledgeable once onboard the right trolley.
It's very sad if they dropped the level of service. Our impression of Celebrity is first class all the way. We've been on 3 ships (though not on Infinity) between 2006 and 2017 and enjoyed all of them. Customer service, food, entertainment, ships - all was the best. I hope Celebrity continues with their high level of quality as we are looking forward to more cruising with them.
