I would go again tomorrow on this itinerary. A little longer than a weekend trip, but the 2 sea days were just what we needed. Celebrity has never let me down.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Although there was a line at the Aqua Class check in (which I've never experienced before) it was due to a large group of Europeans traveling together. They turned out to be a choir of some sort and they would flash mob sing at various times through out the cruise. It was quite nice.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
We dined exclusively in Blu for breakfast and dinner. We used the MDR one day while at sea. The food in BLU was really good. Our server, I Wayan, made sure we sampled everthing and would even bring the MDR menu just in case. The soups, in particular, this trip were terrific. No one does a crema catalana like Celebrity. MDR at lunch also had a great bolognese at lunch - just the right amount of pasta for lunch. Portions are attributable to being able to find food constantly - but as always, if you want more of something, the wait staff is happy to accommodate. The sommelier Fernando was great. Try the Prosecco instead of champagne sometime.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
We enjoyed our 2 sea days. We spend an hour or so each day using the Perisan Garden, we use the fitness center EVERY day - gotta be able to eat the bread basket. We tried the line dancing lessons pool deck, used the indoor and outdoor pools, enjoyed music all over the ship and even could sit on our AFT balcony late afternoon and hear music.
Entertainment

The ship on board bands were good - not great and the comedian was hilarious.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
As always on Celebrity, we found the ship staff to be attentive, friendly and very good. The staff at the coffee bar, Al Bacio, the BEST part about the free drink package perk, were especially terrific. Afternoons after coming back aboard to sit and and watch the shore disappear with a great coffee beverage and pastry was something to look forward to. Thank you Victoria for making our trip even better!
Ship Quality

I love the design on the Infinity and Summit. The ship is super easy to navigate. We always choose the 11th floor cabins for our Aqua Class trips as we use the AFT stair for a lot of things. This is my 2nd trip on Infinity and we've been on Summit 3 times. I enjoy it maybe more from a design standpoint than the S class ships. As always, there are things that show wear and tear, but honestly, I am not one to sit and worry about a little rust here and there. Comparatively to the Carnival ships that were in port alongside us, the Infinity was a sparkling gem.
Cabin / Stateroom

I LOVED this cabin. It was my first experience in an AFT facing Cabin. I will try try try to always do this on the S class ships. The extra space was great, being able to hear the music from the Sunset bar during appropriate times was great. You could hear the movies from the deck but it wasn't annoying.
I really really like Cozumel. This time we took a Celebrity tour to El Cielo to snorkel. The water was AMAZING and the star fish were abundant. The Aqua Dream 2 staff made our trip so fun. Dancing on the deck on the way back, great food prepared by a Chef on board, open bar. Afterwards a little shopping in port for vanilla, jewelry and ceramic dishes and then back on board. Great day.
It poured in Key West and was very windy so our excursion for jet skiing was cancelled but we enjoyed walking around downtown. Note to Celebrity: your umbrellas are not made for this type of rain. We finally gave up trying to use it as it kept turning inside out. It is what I will remember most about Key West - standing in a downpour holding the umbrella and laughing, Good food at B.O. Fish Shack.
We'll be in 1140 on Infinity soon. Did you feel the balcony was too open being above Sunset Bar? And did it still feel like a true aft balcony in that location?
