Review summary
The ship is in desperate needs of refurbishment and is scheduled for 2020, but not sure she can hang on that long. There are some public areas that are very nice and modering feeling (Martini Bar, Rendevous Lounge) and then there are other public areas that are worn and beaten up like the Oceanview Grill (Lido). The food and service are hit and miss. The quality of the food is very good...lots of variety across all the restaurants and buffets. There was a carving station or two every day in the Oceanview Cafe (buffet) for lunch and 3-4 carving stations at dinner time. In the restaurants, the service was hit and miss, but the quality of the food was very good albeit VERY small portions. Everyone in our group ended up ordering 3 or 4 things off the menu most of the time or having to reorder as some dishes were just a whisper of food rather than an actual portion. We upgraded to Sky Suite but didn't get all the amenities that were included with this class. We will be writing to Celebrity directly to let them know. The drinks package is definitely worth it, but the staff throughout the ship is constantly trying to get you to upgrade the package or buy specialty dining package or something...felt a little like a flea market at times with the crew trying to sell you stuff. The air conditioning is very inconsistent throughout the ship and cabins. Our cabin was ridiculously warm most of the time even after calling several times. I think there are major issues with the AC on this ship. Overall this is a nice weekend away but the ship doesn't live up to the same standards as other Celebrity ships. Compared to other cruise lines 4-5 night cruise product, this one is still the best one out there (IMHO) and the ship will be fantastic after the huge renovation happening in 2020.Embarkation

Michael's Club
Ann the bartender is fantastic and Sheila the Suite Guest Concierge is warm and friendly.
Oceanview Cafe and Bar
The food variety and selection was very good but the seating area is in desperate need to refurbishment. Also the AC is very inconsistent and we found it much cooler towards the aft
