Review summary

My wife asked lots of people what they paid. We found that we were on the high side. Needless to say we are not too pleased. Why is Cheap Cruise sending this survey. I thought we were to receive one from Celebrity.

Embarkation

1 out of 5
Suite and Concerge persons were given a priority boarding. All the rest were forced to go to sit in stands and wait. This is the first time I have experienced this. This was my 8th cruise.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
Food was far below my prior Celebrity cruises. Celebrity food used to be superior. Now going to eat was not really that pleasant.

Cabin / Stateroom

A little tight; but what I expected. Steward did an excellent job.

Ship tip

Don't ask! I am still pissed about my second class treatment at embarkation. Maybe their space was too small. However, I have sailed from that place before and never had a problem.

I've never heard of it.

Does any one know if infinity has a dress in white night party?

Agree with all of the above, plus you don't know if there price was just the cabin or if it included perks or they paid for the extras separately and so did not include them in the price you were quoted.

I think was just a question with out any malice no big deal

Shocking but people have been known to tell a little white lie about how much they paid for anything in life. Car, house, shoes, cruise. No one likes the question and understating the amount can happen. No one wants to be the loser in this game so they'll say $2k when they realy paid $3k.

First of all, I think it's rude to ask people what they paid. Do you ask friends and family how much they paid for their house, car, how much money they make???? I don't because it's none of my business. Second, cruise fares, like airline fares, can fluctuate. Was your wife comparing apples to apples? My guess is no.

It’s really none of your business what someone else paid for their cruise. I would have thought you were pretty rude to ask.

Rates vary all the time. It also depends what deck and cabin rate code within a cabin type. There are often last minute or "guarantee" rates where you have no say in your cabin, you get what no one else wanted. If money is more important than picking an ideal cabin, or you have flexibility in which week you sail you can get deals.

So I make it a habit to not ask people about their finances. It's no one's business but their own.

Sometimes people will say a price lower than they actually paid, just so THEY will not seem foolish. If I paid $2,323.74 for the cruise, I could easily (and honestly) say $2,000 not caring about the overage.
