Review summary

This was a fabulous cruise experience! I loved the floor to ceiling windows found in many areas of the ship i.e., Oceanview Cafe, the Constellation Lounge, the veranda rooms, etc. The service was awesome, the food was fabulous, and our room was great! We personally don't like the "forced fun" that we have run into on past cruises. There was none of this and it made our cruise experience feel more mature and classy. I appreciated that the port times were longer than some of the other lines we looked at. This allowed enough time to do an excursion and still have time to explore the town. Alaska was spectacular and I was happy with the itinerary/ports of call. We have been on 4 cruises and this was by far our favorite!

I thought the entertainment was fairly average by and large, however, the acrobatic couple Duo Destiny was incredible though! They were utterly amazing!

The people on the ship work very hard and probably put up with a lot working with the public. They were top notch and deserve to be treated kindly and with respect from the lowest ranks on up to the top. We were grateful for all they did to make our cruise fabulous.

Love that Celebrity worked in floor to ceiling windows whenever they could. This was a nice touch when you have such dramatic scenery like Alaska filling up those huge windows.

Cabin / Stateroom

Our cabin was fabulous! Freddy, our cabin steward worked very hard and was detail oriented. The only thing I would change is that we couldn't hear the announcements in our room. I don't know if it was turned off or broken. I am sure that if I had pointed this out it would have been corrected. I liked the feeling of privacy on our balcony. I also liked the special shower panel with the extra jets.
