Review summary

This was a beautiful cruise ship with a wonderful staff, great food, great entertainment, and an exceptional itinerary. Once again, there was little fanfare around the pool - hardly any music or activities, just a bunch of people sleeping. The food was very good with good variety. The lectures were excellent, especially Milos. The crew was fantastic as usual.

Fantastic and lare since it was a handicapped room. Very comfortable bed after receiving the egg crate foam. The closet was a bit small, but the storage was more than enough.

Ship tip

Get your book from the library early - there were no books worth reading left if you don't go the first day! People take out more than one at a time.

Definitely eat here. We had the best lunch and ceviche ever.

Cruise Chilean Fjords

Set your alarm and get up and take pictures! I set my alarm every 20 minutes, went back to bed in-between taking pictures.

Cruise Strait Of Magellan

Punta Arenas, Chile

See the penquins here. The ferry is preferable to the 2 hour dusty drive you will have in Puerto Madryn.

Ushuaia, Tierra Del Fuego, Argentina

Take the ferry to the penquin island. This is the best variety of penguins - we saw Gentoos, Magellans, and 2 kings!

Cruise Cape Horn

Puerto Madryn, Argentina

If you want to see unusual animals like the rhea and guanaco, go to the valdez peninsula - they are everywhere!

Punta Del Este, Uruguay

Take the local bus tour ($25-50) it hits all the hot spots and is an incredible value. Then have lunch with the incredible water view.
