Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Suite

This cruise of South America was completely different than we expected.  The southern part of South America was much colder than we expected. We loved seeing the penguins .  The Beagle Channel was absolutely  beautiful!

Cabin / Stateroom
This was our first suite experience and we really like the personal attention we received. However, we would suggest that instead of everyone getting a bottle of champagne there was a possibility of getting wine instead.
Embarkation and Disembarkation
My husband and I have never seen such an unorganized way to board the ship in Buenos Aires. It was a mess and we had early boarding because we had a suite and were Elite. Our disembarkation in Santiago end fine.
Ship Quality
The Infinity is showing its age. Although the staff are wonderful, there are signs of age with the carpet, furniture and other things.
Destinations and Excursions
My husband and were disappointed in some of the ports of call and excursions. We will give top scores to the Penguin excursion we took and our last port of call ranch that we went to.
Onboard Activities
Children's Programs N/A
Entertainment
The entertainment was wonderful on this cruise!
Service and Staff
As with all of or Celebrity cruises, the staff always goes out of their way to please the guests!
Food and Dining
Delicious!!
Buenos Aires, Argentina
Montevideo, Uruguay
We took the tour to Colonia. It was a long bus ride but an interesting old town that included lunch.
Punta Del Este, Uruguay
We weren't able to see this port because of weather.
Puerto Madryn, Argentina
One of the best excursions to the Punto Tombo Penguin Rookery. Well worth the drive.
Cruise Cape Horn
We weren't able to cruise around Cape Horn.
Ushuaia, Tierra Del Fuego, Argentina
BRRRRR but beautiful!
Punta Arenas, Chile
City and Museum Tour. Although our tour guide was very good and so proud of her town, I would not recommend this tour.
Cruise Strait Of Magellan
Cruise Chilean Fjords
Puerto Montt, Chile
Wonderful excursion, Traditions of Chile!
Valparaiso (Santiago), Chile
We did not tour Valparaiso but toured Santiago on our own. We liked Santiago a lot! It was a clean and interesting city.
