Ship: Celebrity Infinity

Review summary

The ship is clean, well-appointed and well-maintained. Even though there were 2,000 passengers, on only a couple of occasions did it seem crowded.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Be prepared to gain a lot of weight; bring pants with elastic waistbands! There's so much food and it's all so tempting! You can eat whenever you feel like doing so--that may not be entirely a good thing!

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Lots of options, but we would have liked more educational programs about what we were seeing. And a sports bar!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We wanted to kidnap our waiters and bring them home with us.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Elegant!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Very pleasant room with plenty of closet and drawer space. Comfy bed. Every time we returned to our room, the bathroom was spotless.

Ports of call

Juneau, Alaska

We took the tram up Mt. Roberts and really enjoyed the view and the hiking trails. The movie in the Visitors' Center was quite good, but we especially loved the performance by the Alaska String Band. What a lovely and talented family!
Don't Miss: The view from the mountain.

Ketchikan, Alaska

We wandered the town and visited the Totem Museum, which is small but very interesting. The salmon were spawning--amazing to see the creek just clogged with fish.
Don't Miss: Totem Museum

Skagway, Alaska

The main street has been tastefully renovated, for the most part. As in all the ports, there are many many options to purchase jewelry, shirts, caps, socks, some crafts and all manner of tourist dreck.
Don't Miss: The excursion by bus up the Klondike Highway and return on the White Pass & Yukon train (or vice versa).

Pros: Attentive staff, varied activities, excellent food

Cons: Frequent urging to purchase drinks
