Review summary
This was our first non-Caribbean, non-7 day cruise. We had high expectations and this cruise exceeded them. We chose the cruise for the itinerary - many incredible ports and opportunities to explore neighboring cities. The overnight stop in La Spezia was amazing. After sailing Apex and Beyond, which we loved, we wondered if we’d be happy on a Solstice Class ship. We sure were! The overwhelming highlight was dining in Blu, where the staff became family. Murano was another wonderful standout. We were very happy with the entertainers, both the Celebrity performers and the guest stars (Divas 3, Tom Stephenson, and Oli Nez). The cruise director was ever present and charming. I also felt our fellow passengers were kind and friendly, more so than other cruises. All in all, we had a wonderful vacation and look forward to our next Celebrity cruise.Embarkation
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
Murano Restaurant
Delicious and outstanding service. We went twice, once for a birthday where they provided a happy birthday dessert.
Blu Restaurant
Cannot say enough wonderful things about Blu. The staff became family. The food was outstanding. The service was impeccable. I will from now on sail the Solstice Class of ships exclusively in Aqua Class for Blu alone.
