Review summary

Love sailing the Caribbean and Capt George gave us a real Fun trip. Food choices at sit down dinner, just ok. Buffet breakfast and during the days at sea great! Probably Entertainment was the Best! All staff on the ship was great. Don't like the fact a 20% gratuity is added to everything.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Food selections were so so! One night lobster offered ( 4 0z) next to last night. If you added a second tail would be 16.00, Prime rib was good offered 2 nights. Rest of the menu was same everyday. Very little change. Didn't like the fact that 3 good items were offered all in one night. Service was very good everywhere, dinner, buffet and bar locations.

Onboard Activities

Really didn't use much. Watched others enjoying themselves

Entertainment

5 out of 5
First would like to mention our cruise Director Angela and her husband Dave, they were excellent and the shows were GREAT as well. Gen Maldonado, lady singer Fantastic! Also female impressionist/singer Karen Grainger very good. Elton John singer impressionist Mr Colte Julian was phenominal, super job by these performers. All of the entertainers and dancers from the shows were enjoyed and appreciated for their performances.

Children's Programs

Not traveling with kids

Service and Staff

All were very good and constantly followed up with " is there anything we can do more or is there anything you need, Mr Robert ". Head waiter Manohar, couldn'T do more for us, a "10"

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
To us the ship was plain compared to others we have been on. But the ship was clean and well maintained. However ,the exterior needed work due to rust and paint repair.

Cabin / Stateroom

Comfort very good. Cleanliness excellent! Size not as much, very limited space to put anything. Very little drawers and not enough space to hang shirts and pants/slacks.

Ship tip

The Captain, George, gave us one of the smoothest sailings we've ever experienced. You had to go top deck to realize we were docking at any of the ports. He was that good! Cruise Director Angela and her husband Dave really made the cruise fun. Sky Lounge was great whether for entertainment or just a quiet afternoon at sea day. Down part is, bar only opens at 4:00 pm :(

Beaches okay, did very little shopping

Fort-De-France, Martinique

3 out of 5
Enjoyed some time at the beach, then shopped some. Be careful of Martinique. The vendors there play games with you. Items are labeled in ec dollars which is a little less than 1/2 of a US dollar. However when you ask them the price they say " oh no, that is US money. Antigua, St Lucia and St Kitts do not do that. Martinique plays games with the tourists. Vendors at the port and some shops label items with a value but not clear if ec or US dollars

Basseterre, St. Kitts

Great stop! again we did our own thing. Also one of our favorite islands. Locals are so nice there.
